About week ago, I had surgery in Bridgewater hospital. Doctor Stooddart and his team did great job for me. Dr. Stoddart is very professional surgeon. I recovery fast and did not use any medication. I would like to say thank you very much my doctor.

Dr Stoddart was a great guy through my minor surgery. During the pandemic, he stepped up and handled office and surgery. He really impressed me, and did a great job minimizing scars. Would go under his knife again lol.

This man saved my life and did what he could to minimize the impact it had in my future. He has operated on myself ,.my husband and my daughter and been excellent everytime. I would highly recommend this man as a surgeon.

I feel very lucky to have had dr stoddart to do my gall bladder and hernia surgery and bowel blockage. I had no problems or issues , it went really well. I think he is a great surgeon.

Appendix surgery August 2020
I was amidit to Bridgewater NS South Shore regional hospital.,had 1st amidit surgery was released released same night and started to get more pain then the first went back on the,2nd day was rushed back in to surgery he left something inside so I made him do it again, after surgery there was Orange sterilization fluid in my legs and my private parts he said he had gotten it all this time!!!? After 7 weeks of werid off feeling in side of my Virgina and off feeling inside my belly but different this time,I went to the doctor and told him about it after intercourse I started bleeding and it hurt real bad I started I started to worry after a few months it still hurt so I asked for a pap test to be done,I went to my appointment and she was doing her exam and I told her where it hurt so she checked,she got this weird look and left the room to get my doctor to come examine as well then he got a off look on his face and started asking a questions about the surgery and said I have to see a specialist he told me very little about it and said it feels like something there that shouldn't be as of now I have just got my specialist appointment too see now what happened and what is the problem to be continued after April 10 I hope this helps someone who might get this problem scary situation thanks for reading and pass this information on to help out as well!!!!!

Amazing doctor, couldn’t believe how painless it was, how fast it went. He knows what he’s doing and it shows. Would recommend to any guy for a vasectomy.

I had my surgery with Dr. Stoddart on May 2019. The surgery went well but the after care was terrible. During my post op appointment I told him I was not still not feeling well and I asked him if he could sign me out for another few weeks off of work. He said No that 2 weeks was enough to be off. He then wrote that in my report and sent it to my GP. My GP was very surprise to read that and told me when I went to see him “this dr must not be very nice” and I told him what had happened. Also during my Post opp with Dr Stroddart I told him I was still bleeding from my bum and he stated “that is your “can’t say the word but it starts with ‘A’’ ” that has nothing to do with me”. I left his office numb to think he would treat and talk to his patient that way. He is very arrogant and unkind. I will NEVER have him touch my body again.

Dr. Stoddart is an excellent doctor . His receptionist , Cathy is very helpful and gives you all the information you ask for. Compassionate and understanding. My daughter has had 2 surgeries done by Dr. Stoddart and we could not have asked for better care. Thankyou

I'm sure he knows his stuff. He has the personality of a rock! Does not inform you of tests he's ordered.has a I don't care attitude. Did not solve my issue, or try to find out why. Does not actually realize people are human and have feelings. My vet treats my dogs better

When I needed cancer surgery way back in 2006, I was given the choice of having it done in Halifax or Bridgewater. I consulted with a retired Doctor friend of mine and told him of this. When he learned my Bridgewater Dr was Todd Stoddart, he immediately told me if I had surgery in Halifax, I would probably only see the surgeon on operation day and likely no more. The VG is a teaching hospital and I would see a series of interns up to release date. He highly recommend Dr Stoddart.
Stoddart performed the surgery and has been in my corner with follow ups ever since.
Dr. Stoddart is both an amazing doctor and a terrific person. His display of passionate and professional care is above reproach.
I have previously and will continue to recommend Dr Stoddart.
