Very unprofessional and very rude. Didn't even bother examining my wife for a pain she's been having for a few months in her abdomen, and told her that she's too fat which is why she's in pain, which is downright disgusting behavior and disrespectful, especially since she's not even close to being fat at all. Dr even tried to prescribe injection shots of a medication meant for people with diabetes, which funny thing is acquiring said medication is actually not legally allowed by the public unless given special permission with an acknowledgement of needing it due to being diabetic, which my wife definitely is not. Dr didn't even suggest an ultrasound either, and only prescribed very strong medication that could potentially endanger my wife's life even more. The sheer amount of disrespect and incompetence of this doctor is mindblowing. It's a miracle that he still has a medical license. You would think that the Dr would be intelligent enough to suggest an ultrasound after being given information that the medication acquired by a previous doctor wasn't working, but nope. Guy straight up fat shamed my wife and didn't even bother examining her, and has potentially endangered my wife's life more.

I’m pregnant and my family doctor recently left the clinic that Dr. Steplewski works at. I need an OB referral and since I no longer have a family Dr. I was advised to see any walk in Dr. At the same clinic. Dr. Steplewski continuously said “I don’t know you.” “I don’t know anything about you.” And berated me for not knowing the spelling of the OB I was being referred to. (I in fact did give him the proper spelling & had recently seen this other Dr. So her information should have been on my file.) I waited in the waiting room for 5 hours and left with absolutely no progress. I’ve seen Dr. Steplewski in the past at the same walk in clinic and every time he is rude and does not help patients he isn’t familiar with. He should not be working at a walk in clinic if he refuses to help walk in patients.

Dr. Steplewski is very rude and unhelpful. He does not focus on patient care and denies referrals to helpful resources. Very lazy!

Can’t be more rude. Requesting a blood work as a cancer patient after 1 year of my last one. He declined and said he won’t check my blood work result since he is not my family doctor.

Burned out? He made me feel like s**t. It was pretty unnecessary. Said "I don't know anything about you." OK so ask me and look at my file. Maybe since family doctors don't get paid for compassion and chart review it's easier to just be rude so that people want to get out of the encounter.

After waiting an unacceptable amount of time in the waiting room, I finally got to see Dr. Steplewski. He was rude, arrogant, and did not provide any helpful information. He did not respect my wishes and he claimed that he did more for me than he actually did. It was a terrible experience, so much so, that I decided never to go back to that clinic again.

We have seen this dr as a walk-in 4-5 times over the years. Often with a child’s sport injury, most recently for middle aged me.
I find him refreshingly honest. He doesn’t waste time chitchatting. He doesn’t hand out prescriptions unnecessarily. Love him! Wish he was taking new patients.
