He told me the best position for a women is on her hands and knees scrubbing the floor. He gave me an episiotomy without asking. Did not do anything make a natural birth go smoothly and instructed the nurse to ignore me and hold my leg at a painful position so he could see better. He was terrible.

If I could give this doctor a ZERO I would! I saw him many years ago. I was referred to him for my first baby and I was young and did not know how an OBGYN was supposed to treat his patients. He felt my chest at every appointment which was monthly while pregnant. He also did a vaginal and back door check at those visits, during my entire pregnancy! He had me strip down at every visit! This mad is a pervert with a capital P!!! Not only that, he is incompetent. My labor was a complete nightmare and after 29 hours of being in labor he finally showed up! I had to have a c-section. I can’t believe this man is still working! Please do not go to him! This is a strong warning!!!

Dr. Nelson is the best dr I've ever seen. When faced with a very high risk pregnancy we "shopped" OBs and chose him. He took the time to answer all our questions, and even did extra research & called us at home with additional information. I had a long-term hospital stay and he called or visited every single day. He has a fantastic bedside manner, and is very loving & caring. He did a wonderful job with the delivery of my triplets. He even encouraged my husband to go to med school, and is now in his 2nd year of residency! I would highly recommend Dr. Nelson to everyone I know! To those who gave bad reviews: I'm sorry you had a bad experience. I can't imagine him doing any of those awful things! He is the best OB I've ever had! He tells it like it is, isn't afraid of the "hard" answers, and does a great job. About the "fondling" comment-my hubby said that after doing 100s of breast exams breasts aren't "exciting". She may have just felt uncomfortable b/c it's a sensitive/private area.

It was a long time ago that I saw Dr. Nelson. But i only went to him once. He made me very uncomfortable. I dont remember much about it other than he made unprofessional comments when I told him I had lost my libido he said I should get naked and answer the door for my husband when he gets home from work. He gave me a creepy feeling. And upon visiting numerous Dr rating sites, I have found i am not the only one. One lady had said he fondled her breasts. I would never go to this Dr. Stay away!

I agree with the other two posts about how horrible this doctor is.He is so rude. He has an awful bedside manner. He was rude everytime i came in alone for my dr visits , when my husband was there he entire personality changed. He is also very arrogant. I saw him in Utah county, i got a letter saying he was moving to west valley city. I hope you guys have better luck with this man.I think the three positive remarks were probably from his staff. I even had a lady in my ward tell me had yelled at her during her pregnancy. I would stay far away from this dr.

This doctor does not care about the patient and has horrible bed side manner. Once he came into my prenatal appointment singing Scarlet Pimpernel, spouted out my stats, and then left without actually talking to me. Most of his appointments were rushed. He gave me an episiotomy without asking me, and didn't listen to me when I said I was feeling pain while he stitched me up. I would not recommend this doctor to deliver your child unless you want someone who is not a good listener, uncaring, and arrogant.

Dr. Nelson is the best. He listens to concerns. I had 4 of my children delivered by him. I even came all the way from Arizona to have him deliver two of my babies. My last baby I drove an hour and a half to have him deliver. Great Dr.
