After seeing 5 doctors no one helped me with my condition until I met Dr. Bierman. He gave me multiple things to do to make my life so much better. He removed 12 growths that would have been cancerous in a year. I owe my life to him. He was so kind to me.

After seeing Dr.Bierman going on 3 years now I have actually SEEN him maybe 2 or 3 times and that was when I first became a patient of his.I recently had surgery and Dr.Bierman failed to show his face before during or even after my hospital stay. Therefore I will be moving on to a doctor that's more concerned with the well being of his patients

Dr. Bierman is pretty good but his office runs miserably. Just spent 45 minutes waiting in three separate rooms, only to not see the doctor. Ridiculous.

I have seen Dr, Bierman for over 10 years. I have always liked him as a Dr. and been well pleased with my colonoscopies. However, I have IBS and Gerd that has gone from bad to worse to severe. He never has the time t sit down and talk with you in full detail. Runs in 5 minutes and he's out the door. I took the 2 prescriptions he gave me- did exactly as he said. That was 10 years ago and my problems have gone from bad- to worse- to severe. I have been referred to Gastro One by 4 people and am going there to see an entirely new Dr. and group. All I want is for a Dr. to listen to me and understand the seriousness of trying to live with these diseases--and that is NOT Dr. Bierman.

My daughter has been a patient of dr.bierman for about a year..she has a long standing history of severe crohns disease and had been a pediatric patient of a great gi specialist for over16 years.well unfortunately after turning 18 she then started to see dr.bierman.i would have thought his first visit with her would have been more than a 5 minute visit.especially since she had such severe crohns which resulted in her having multiple bowel surgeries,a history of deep vein thrombosis, seizure disorder, strokes at the brain, perforation of the colon, severe anemia all related to crohns.so one would think he would of taken more time to find out a little more about this patient.during this years time shes only seen dr.bierman 3xs.the nurse practitioner always sees.after a small bowel series showed severe strictures,it was then that dr.bierman felt she needed surgery but ,never said anything else about it to us. After experiencing so much pain to the point where it was getting unbearable my daughter then decided to proceed with surgery herself.after spending 5 days in the hospital not once did we even see dr.bierman.although we were told he was there in the hospital and would come to see her.cant really say that our experience warrants a great review.however,i dont think he is a bad specialist but i have yet to see the greatness that others have.so to say that i would recommend him to others i would have to say no based on experience.he may well be a superb doctor but unfortunately some reviews i have read made reference that its more concerned about money than concerns about the patients health.i too would have liked to have given a great review but due to the small amout of time hes given my daughter over a years time would be impossible to say hes great, and i do hope having better insurance does not factor into whether or not a patient gets treated equally as it relates to his medical care.

These people need to go back to school. Very unprofessional. Bierman made me very uncomfortable and i do not recommend anybody to pursue his practice. I still have same problems and been misdiagnosed. Guessing is not a diagnose. All the good reviews here are made by the dr. Himself. He's a cheat and poor poor doctor. STAY AWAY FROM HIM.

Dr. Bierman is a very concerned and caring physician. I recently had a colonoscopy at his GI Specialists facility. He and his staff were very professional, kind, and concerned about my health. The facility was organized, clean, and anyone would be glad if they chose GI Specialists to have their colonoscopy, etc. Dr. Bierman is a caring, kind physician.

Dr. Bierman is by far one of the kindest doctors I have ever been to. His encouragement and talking to a patient like they aren't just a number or disease is a winning combination. He cares, and is obviously very bright, and a great listener. This specialty come with lots of scared patients and he knows what he is doing.
