Don't let him near you!!! He told me to get rid of my brace, after fracturing my back and told me nothing was wrong and then lied on my report. The lengthy article in the spectator should have done their homework further and realized this man should NEVER be promoted as a good doctor. My child commented that he went to another country for Doctor's Without Borders because they can't sue him there.

Dr. Sadler did surgery on my spine after Cauda Equina. I don't know how well he did the surgery, but there is still disc material there. Remaining pain made physio very difficult and I'm "not expected to recover fully" according to my physiatrist. Was asked by him to return 2 weeks after discharge, so I did. When I got there, (after waiting nearly 3 hours to see him ) He demanded to know what I was doing there. When I described to him my current state, he told me he didn't have any answers for me, did a VERY cursory exam, did not examine the tenderness at the site. He was rude, dismissive, and chastised me for taking the prescriptions I was given at the hospital 2 weeks before. When I asked him if he was going to adjust the prescriptions he yelled at me that he wasn't going to prescribe me ANYTHING and walked out. I left in tears. I plan to file a complaint.

I had a minor knee surgery in the spring of 09 and I ended up with a blood clot in my heart and lung 4 months later there was NO physio. or exersises to do a big mistake.. and He said it was my fault and that he would not operate on me again(as if) hey I'm not the expert here... get another opinion from a better rated surgeon. if I knew this info was advailable I would of gone to a real Doctor and only give your opinion after surgery that is the eye opener... and thanks doc. for making my blood pressure sore up 40+ points

I liked seeing Dr, Sadler as I have been seeing other ortho's about my knee pain and he was the first to look for and find other causes of my pain. when the time comes after deciding when I am going to have the surgery I will deffinetly let dr.Sadlerdo it.Yes he is straight to the point but that is refreshing after all the others I have seen that are supposed to be tops in thier field but are more arrogant than this man is.

FIND ANOTHER DOCTOR. PRESENT TO AN ER IN TORONTO. If you have an appointment with this fellow and you have not yet seen him, cancel it and ask for a different doctor. Once you are a patient of his, there is not another ortho guy in Hamilton who will touch you. He is rude and dismissive; borders on abuse of patients and family if they question him or what he is doing recommending. That could be tolerated if he actually provided good care but he does not. If you have him do surgery and you make a good recovery, great. If you have any complications, be well aware that he will blame YOU, the patient, for a poor outcome and he will wash his hands of you.

please rethink your visit to this man! To those that he has helped, kudo's to you BUT for those of us he has left to remain in pain and made worse I am right there with you. He has a Ortho clinic in the same medical building I work in (out of Hamilton) and I cringe every time I see his name on clinic day...it takes everything I have not to go in to the waiting area and tell patients to get out while they are still able...good luck all!

It's been over ten years but my family will never forget this man. I can't believe he is still "practicing".

I like him. He is pragmatic and commonsensical. He is a highly underrated surgeon.
