The "dime on the dollar" comment about my being on Medicaid was so offensive I had to mention that his waiting room wasn't exactly full-so he must love Medicaid. And I was misdiagnosed by another doctor with MS, was tested by Dr. Bowser, AND DON'T HAVE IT. Just early onset Parkinsons. Applause....no.

Saw Dr Jeckle/Hyde 5 times, each time he was a pompous bully & rude to his office ladies in front of patients! During the Eeg he talked & babbled on most of it derogatory toward women's conditions, his opines on Medications, & insurance. Says my Eeg responses are; " hyper reflexive" but that could be because I am half naked in front of a strange man"... REALLY?!? sends the report back to my M.D. "Normal"... She sends me back, he again states "hyper reflex" in his physical exam suggests a MRI... IF I CAN AFFORD IT - Never mind I could be NEED IT! MRI comes back with an issue... He writes it on a prescription pad tells me "Google it"... That I will need to be under the care of a Neurologist & MRI's annually... Prescribes a medication says come back in 6 weeks. I come back... he get combative & dismissive about my MRI findings & completing some forms I AM PAYING $17 per form for him to complete!! Like how dare I waste his pompous time!! Then proceeds to complain about his being tired after being "on call" at Penrose over the weekend ... Parting shot being; "I might get to them (forms I paid for in addition to the visit) today or I may not... depends on how I feel since I have been up since 2am , welcome to my world! This guy has ease of appointment because he has an open schedule & I now understand why that is!! Will be seeking a 2nd opinion

Do yourself a favor and see another neurologist. Worst doctor I've ever seen. Should not be practicing medicine.

He was one of the rudest people I've ever met in my life I was shocked at the way he spoke to me and even left crying. While asking him about a new medication if there are side affects his response,"every medication has some sort of side affect" seriously? Also in the middle of asking questions he gets up and walks out talking he is the most unprofessional rudest person I've ever met in my life

My neurologist retired and I asked my Primary Care doc for a referral. He referred Dr. Bowser. Before making appt I checked his ratings here and other websites and noticed a common theme among negative reviews for this doctor. They had the same negative, even caustic tone. I checked other Colorado Springs neurologists ratings and found similar negative reports. With no one having good reviews I went ahead and scheduled with Dr. Bowser. He turned out to be a very friendly, competent doctor who explained things very well. He turned out to be a patient advocate helping me get discounted prescriptions and because I am fully recovered from a stroke saw no reason to schedule multiple expensive followup visits. He told me to call anytime should snother issue come up. I believe many of the negative reviews are coming from someone with an ax to grind.

I was referred to Dr. Bowser for numbness in my face for possible neurological issues. Dr. Bowser was insulting, dismissive, and performed fewer neurological tests than my regular physician. He interrupted me shortly after he asked me to list off my symptoms, saying how none of my symptoms made sense. He initially did not think anything was wrong with me. He sent me for an MRI, and a MS Panel. He wrote the instructions wrong for an MS Panel, and therefore it was done incorrectly. Apparently the blood test and the spinal tap should be done on the same day. He continually spoke with his back to me. After my MRI showed MS, I brought in my vitamins that I had taken, and he told me he would not look at them. I asked him about changing my diet to an MS recommended diet, and he told me that doesn't help. I repeatedly asked for a referral, and had to follow up at least 10 times to get a referral sent to a diff doctor. This guy is an ass, I will never go back there again.

I had an overall pleasent experience. Dr. Bowser, does have a slightly different demeanor, but I did not interpret it as unprofessional. He was on time and spent approximately an hour reviewing my medical issues. I felt my immediate health concerns were addressed and he provided a longterm healthcare plan. I left the appointment satisfied. He is forthright. If you're looking to be coddled, you may want to look elsewhere. However, if you want a direct and honest conversation - which I prefer - Dr. Bowser is your man. In short, I recommend Dr. Bowser.

Spent a lot of time with me. Explained everything fully. Recommended a conservative course of action.
