He may be straight forward, but I consider him as having poor communication skill, and down right arrogant.

Dr. A Wong has been my family doctor for years. He is great with things he knows a lot about like diabetes but with the condition I have, no such luck. I have been diagnosed with it for 3 years and still waiting for a specialist to see. The referral stayed on his desk for a month after I asked it for it. (that has only been in the past few months). Great for general family health.

Great Dr, but his office staff leave a sour taste in your mouth. That's my biggest issue, no matter when you go in or when you call they are very rude and bitter. They never smile and frankly don't even look like they want to be there. If your job is so bad get a new one. I only go to the Dr when I really really need to and the last thing I want is to be treated so rudely by these "Receptionists" I guess good help is hard to find.

Re: Dr. Andrew Wong at Callingwood Clinic. Excellent physician. Diagnosed my mother's cancer correctly and quickly. One of the most knowledgeable doctors I have ever met. The only negative I have is the front desk staff at Callingwood. Sour-faced and grumpy, even downright rude with patients.

If this is the Dr. Wong in Callingwood, I have found him to be a poor doctor. His patient manner esp. with children needs improvement. He need to explain what he is going to do when examining the children, so children& parents are aware. He upset my daughter at age 6 and now at 18yrs. of age, she is still very cautious around doctors and will only see a woman doctor now.

My triglycerides were critical and he went to spend half a day with a endocrinologist on my behalf. What Dr. would do that?

I found I have had help with things that my family doctor missed after seeing him several times before. He does know what he is doing and he is very professional.

Dr. Wong is an extremely knowledgable and helpful physician. He is very friendly and approachable. There isn't enough room in this space to write how great he is. I would see him over any other physician any day.

Saw Dr. Wong several years ago after quickly having my tonsils swell very badly almost overnight. He was fairly good with the array of tests, although the results took a long time. I ended up with an endless perscription of antibiotics with a dosage that simply kept increasing with every new perscription. I was offered no diagnosis, and although the antibiotics didn't work, he kept perscribing them. I ended up in the hospital because I was no longer able to swallow water, let alone food, and was becoming increasingly weak. Although nice family doctor for general problems, reluctant to send me to a specialist when it was obvious he didn't have a clue and I was forced to suffer the consequences of that.
