Dr Donaldson is a amazing Dr. he truly saved my life! I moved about 3 hours away and had trouble, no one would even see me here. One call to him and he personally called me back, hours later I was in his office, then on my way to surgery. He truly cares about people, needless to say I drive 3 hours to my appointments and dread the day he retires. You only dream of finding a doctor as good Him

Dr. Donaldson is an amazing doctor and person. He gives his cell # to his patients so they can contact him directly. He is genuine, caring, knowledgeable but most of all kind to all he meets. The world could learn a lesson from such an outstanding individual. He is truly excellent!!

it sounds like, from what i'm reading, he's for the "males" but maybe not so "cut out" for the females? He's a partner of my gynecologist. Long story, short(?)... I was suffering severe pelvic/back pain. Was seen by 3 specialists at the same visit, Gyn., Colon specialist, and Dr D. The conclusion after hearing about blood in the urine for a 4 week period, documented by the GYN and 2 others, a history of a kidney stone, and a chief complaint of "feeling like someone was trying to catheterize me","burning pain","not feeling like i was eliminating my urine completely", etc... it was concluded that I needed to see a physical therapist. Maybe, it was said, I need to stop running and lifting wights... etc.Maybe it was my "form" in the gym.... maybe I needed to change my routine in my workouts? I was in severe pain for 2 weeks waiting for this appt.(6 weeks total pain before it was diagnosed) He pooh-poohed the blood in my urine, pain in the groin, back, and lower abdomen area. As I checked out with my prescription for physical therapy to "strengthen my pelvis", which I thought was horse-$h!t, the tears streamed down... at the last minute the 3 specialists decided to do a pelvic scan to make me feel better and rule out a lot of "bad stuff" to ease my mind. Another 2 weeks later, in PAIN, with NO anti-inflammatory, NO pain relief, etc., it was discovered with the scan, that I was passing multiple kidney stones this entire time. Really? that's like a pediatrician missing strep throat in a child, or not even considering a certain obvious diagnosis. That should've been on his radar...I do not know anything else, only one visit, but he dropped the ball on this one. Maybe it was a "one-time" thing in his career?I hate to criticize someone, but really, if you see this physician, YOU'D BETTER STICK TO YOUR GUNS, and stand up for what you feel... make them LISTEN. If they don't think of the obvious, then perhaps you should research it and point it out yourself?

I went to Dr. Donaldson regularly over a period of three years for a problem and each and every visit was a pleasure to deal with a doctor of his caliber. A Urologist has never been my favorite doctor to go to but Dr. Donaldson was for more professional than any I ever saw. He treated my prostrate problem and released me; he did not string me along like a lot of them did. I live 75 miles away (150 miles) round trip but will always go back to him when needed. There is three Urologist with in 7 miles of where I live.
