The best pain clinic doctor i have encountered. He has always treated me with kindness, empathy and patience. Dr Clark has worked hard to give me some form of a life because chronic spine pain made me want to give up.

Dr Clark (If you would call him a doctor) After sustaining 14 injuries to my lower back, Thanks to The Canadian Blood Services, where I was employed for 15 years and forced to go back to work after each injury , 4-6 weeks full recovery I went to see Dr. James Clark for help, and to my dismay. His report about me was shocking ! Dr. Clark said ( That I had more addictions and ( red flags) than a Chinese Army . I would not recommend so called - Dr. too anyone seeking help for pain Management. Especially anyone fighting with the WSIB...This report resulted in many Appeals being denied !!! I would consider this deformation of Character...What gives him the right to say something like that. The Doctor has destroyed my Credibility where ever I go. I hope one day he is in pain and has no where to to turn for help !!!!! Mr. Keith

Probably the best doctor I have ever known. He has treated me for chronic nerve and spinal pain for quite a few years. He has always been thorough, professional, approachable, sympathetic, knowledgeable and kind. Without this doctor I do not know what would have happened to me. He has experimented with various regimens, and finally helped me reach a place where I can put up with some pain because he has been responsible for vanquishing most of my pain. I am so grateful to this man, who continues to work because he helps people and does not want to retire. I would add that his receptionist, Linda, has always been courteous and sympathetic to me and is always pleasant.

I guess I must be one of the few who have had a negative experience with this Doctor. However, I have been in Chronic Pain for over 7 years, when I told him my history and that my dream was to get off medication he accused me of only being there for the medication! (he did not even know me!) I walked out. I may have had a difficult past but that does not change who I am today and he has no right to judge me on things I did as a teenager now that I am in my mid 30s. I was lucky enough to find another pain doctor who only gives meds as a last resort. If I could list his name here I would. Dr. Clark was the absolute rudest, most uncaring, judgmental doctor I have ever met (and for someone with a spinal injury, that is a lot of doctors 27 pain and/or rehab doctors to be exact, from Ontario to Texas, not one has treated me with the disrespect that Dr Clark did. I would NEVER trust this man. Period.

Dr Clark is an excellent Doctor, he is very patient and caring. He is a good listener and is willing to try different medications in order to find the solution to your pain, I highly recommend him to anyone suffering from chronic pain, please don't retire. What is the solution to OxyContin users now that the Government has delisted the medication?

I have been a patient of Dr.Clarks for some time now and he has helped me however his secretary is THE worst I have experienced ever. She always mixed up my appointments. I could go on about how she seems to take great pleasure in making people wait and its the only time a smile will will crack the greaspaint. On more than one occasion she proclaimed to all who could hear" Oh your just here for the"!! ( meds I am prescribed) All other secretarys will call ahead to remind you of your appointment and I have heard her do this for others but she does not offer this service to me.She quite obviously suffers from a compulsive disorder of some kind .Being in severe pain ALL the time is very difficult but when you have to deal with outright discrimination it makes it not worth going on.Thank God now that he has expanded his practice there are actual real and experienced people who are helpfull and kind.

Dr. Clark saved my life. By the time I met with him, the pain had reached such relentless extremes that I simply wanted it to stop at all costs and I am afraid of what length I would have gone to had he not intervened. He trusted my feedback and never doubted the reality of my pain - something many other doctors did not do. He helped me get it under control until the source was FINALLY diagnosed by specialists many months later. Once the source was treated and healed, I had to work my way off of the pain meds and was determined to do it on my own. Dr. Clark supported every aspect of my reduction plan and worked with me to get myself medication free as quickly as possible. I can not say enough good things about Dr. Clark's care during my pain filled 1.5 years!! As a pain specialist, he certainly did his job well with me.
