He has helped me tremendously after getting a wrong diagnosis from another doctor in the area. He is a true blessing from God. In my opinion he is for sure the most knowledgeable and compassionate doctor in the area . I have improved tremendously under his care and am continuing to make progress.

Waited 9 months for apt, only to be cancelled, then diagnosed by the Secretary of Diabetes!! She says “oops, disregard I said that”. “Will refer you to another Dr for follow up care, didn’t Dr Lacroix tell you that you are diabetic? “ I replied, I haven’t been able to see Dr Lacroix since 2018! Been trying to get an apt for 9 months, and you cancel 2 days before? How long to wait now? And should I have some info on being diabetic? Treatment? Advice? Horrible experiences - been a patient since 2006, he dropped me as a patient in 2019 because I didn’t visit enough. Now that I’m over 45 and needing a Dr, I feel he’s not attentive.

Well he has been my doctor for many years.
But now that COVID 19 has come he is at home and will not go in to work.
I called 2 weeks ago and his staff said they will get back to me in 72 hours.
But if I wanted a faster response email him.
I did and got nothing back from him or his staff.
I think he is afraid he may catch COVID 19 but isn't he supposed to be a doctor .
And take the extra steps to prevent any transmissions between him and his patients as we all do on a daily basis .
I went just 2 weeks ago to see my Dr. Ali Shahnavaz Ear Nose and Throat Doctor .
because my right ear was beading .
He put on a mask as well as I did and got up close to me to check out my nose and my ears.
He is very great at what his does and that is what I call a doctor .
So think if Dr. Lacroix cant perform his duties as a doctor in these difficult times he should stay home and give up his practice as a doctor.
Because he is not helping anyone now.

Poor servicce, hardly ever in office, not seeing patients at all during Covid , seems ridiculous that a medical professional would not treat people during a pandemic. Office staff are rude, do not take notes properly, do not respond to calls, do not return calls. eventually switched to emails only to be told that he would not treat my on going blood pressure issue without seeing me in person but then said he is not seeing any patients. Basically he could care less if a patient gets treated as long as he is not inconvenienced.

I have Dr.Lacroix as my family doctor, he helps me a lot and he is working for his patient, no matter what you may think! Dr.Lacroix has values and morals and he is very knowledgeable, he does not push for pills and respect who you are as an individual! I like is approach and I stick with him, no matter what! It is not his fault if he has to take time off!! There is always an another doctor to be seen in case he is not available at the clinic! Don’t and should never judge someone, unless you walk in his or her shoes!

All of you who claim Dr. Lacroix is a bad doctor should be ashamed of yourself. He is suffering and has been on sick leave for good reason. It doesn't make him a bad doctor rather than someone who is suffering and had to cancel appointments. Do you really think he worked so hard to become a doctor just to call in sick for no reason? You're a bunch of nasty ppl. That said, when he is on duty, he's spot on and his knowledge is grand!!! He has many specialties and back in the day, he used to do house calls. How many doctors do you know would visit a patients home to care for them. Personally, we called from the US and told him of a situation that occurred to us. When we showed up, he did his homework and had pages of information for us. That was on his own time. Also, once I got my test results he called me personally after hours to discuss it and faxed in prescriptions straight away to my local pharmacy. So stop your bit**ing and go somewhere else. After all, you're not in the greatest health either going to a doctor but expect the world of them. They can be sick and/or in pain just as anyone else. So you really think he worked hard and went to med school for nothing, knowing they'd get sick later on in his life and practice? You bunch of crying babies!!! You make me angry. Take a look at his track record before he started suffering. Now, your making him suffer more. Bunch of bad ppl!!!

I am sure Dr. Lacroix is a good person, but he should not be a doctor. I have never encountered such a terrible and detached doctor. He clearly is in for the money and not helping the community.
