Dr Farquar has been my doctor for 2 or so years and as someone with diabetes I've heard nothing but good things about him. My personal experience has not been so good. He never remembers who I am, he doesn't remember what prescriptions he gives me and he's always in a rush to get out the door. I'm not going back to him anymore because everytime I leave I feel as though nothing is accomplished.

dr Farquhar is the best. Plain and simple. He went as far as to make daily phone calls to my house to check on my condition after under going cancer surgery. I could not ask for anything more from a Dr.

Awesome doctor, I am so sad he doesn't do pregnancies. I am a diabetic and he is defiantly the doctor to see if your diabetic as he is a diabetic himself. Defiantly good rating from me.

I have been a diabetic for 53 years and have been treated by many doctors. Dr. Farquhar is the best. He is knowledgeable, caring and has a wonderful personality. I could not have been luckier when I moved to Kelowna two years ago and he agreed to take me and my wife on as our faimly doctor. He is the best.

Fantastic, you could not ask for a better more caring doctor... unless of course you are not looking for the truth. When treating our diabetic sons... he leads by example.

I was rear-ended on the highway on April 2, 2008 and had no family doctor. I found Dr. Farquhar and had to wait 2 weeks to see him. When I finally saw him, he did not believe I was injured from the accident and kicked the stool I was precariously standing on due to injured spine from the accident. I fell face down on the floor and Dr. Farquhar only took action then by requesting X-rays of my spine. I suffered from severe pain due to his irresponsible actions. I just went through a CT SCAN this week because of persistent spine problems. Hope HE did not aggraved my condition! Sadly, he is my inlaw doctor and he seems to be an okay doctor; why did he treat me this way? VERY UNPROFESSIONAL. SIGNED: RETIRED RN

Dr.Farquhar has been our Doctor sence 1981 and through the years we have noticed his increased knowledge of his Profession as will as being forthright with us. He is a vary personable person who takes the time to make you understand what our situation is. THANKS Doc.

If we had a pay when you go to the office system here in BC let's put it this way - no matter what the cost I would pay to see this doctor. Yes, he IS that good. My mum's old doctors (we saw more than 2) diddled around for over a year when she said something was wrong with her, always prescibing some sort of pill or saying she was still going through menopause or that it was all in her head. Well, finally we got her to switch over to Doc Farquhar and it took him all of about 1 visit to get mum into have an MRI. Turned out she had Alzheimer's. That was quite the journey, and this doctor was right there with us, no matter what issue we had. He is truly a FAMILY doctor, and we are grateful to have him. He is always helpful, always knowledgeable and current, and he's not just a great doctor, but he's just a damned nice person all around.
