Dr Nicholasen has been my phtsician for 14 years, and he is awesome. He spends time with his patients and is very patient and understanding. I recently learned that he is leaving Christiana Care, which is unfortunate for me, but I wish him success in his future endeavors. I am personally not crazy about Chrisiana Care, but Dr Nicholasen made it easier to stay.

I was not impressed with this doctor at all. He was always in and out in a flash. There were times he was answering my questions while he was walking out the door. I agree with the last post, he is a nice man, but I am not so sure he is in the right field. Pretty intelligent, and would be a great doctor if he was more patient and actually seemed interested in his profession.

I saw this doctor for about 5 years before I decided to change. He never seemed very interested in me as a patient. The visits were rushed and I felt like I was a bother. He looks bored and doesnt really want to be there. Nice man, just not sure he is in the right field. Not a very good bedside manner.

Very happy with him. He has been my doctor for almost 10 years and I have refered others to him with confidence. Stays in tune with newer proceedures; Yes, he looks sleepy... I actually think it's more like bored, but he is as sharp as they come. Does not just automatically prescribe antibiotics for every little thing; prompts you to make sure are actually sick enough to get meds. At one point I had no insurance and I needed some pretty expensive medicine; changed it to generic version on the spot to save me money. Have heard good things from others who I have reccommended go to him.

I have seen Dr. Nicholasen for almost his entire time at the Heahth Care Center. He always listens and what he doesn't know he admits and sends me elsewhere for help.

Only an ok doctor. Kind of rushed through the visit. You have to be aggressive to get any kind of proper treatment (i.e. actually ask plenty of questions and suggest treatment to him). Always looks bored and sleepy.

Willing to listen and discuss any problems. Doesn't rush you. Thorough in his examinations and diagnoses. Stays up on new procedures and medications.
