Dr. Balcewicz treated my father in law. She is a no nonsense, focused doctor whose first priority is to treat, listen to her patient. She treated my FIL with care and respect and was by our side the entire journey. We appreciate you Dr. B.

Her bedside manner can be better, very rude, very unprofessional, and better than you attitude, can go. Not someone you want taking care of you!

The worst Dr. I have ever experienced, worse experience of my life. This Dr. did not care about me at all. I have dismissed her and now have a new oncologist who is great maybe now I can get some care.

Dr. Balcewicz is an excellent oncologist, she was my Father-in Law's Dr, my Dr. and my Sisters Dr. she was always caring, knew everything about us, and acted accordingly. She saved my life and my sister, both Breast Cancer. My Father in Law was 13 years ago pancreatic, but she spoke so well when she explained that his was stage 4 and helped us. I am 10 years cancer free, thank you Dr. Balcewicz for being so caring and taking car of us.

I’ve been cancer free for 3 years and it wasn’t due to Dr Balcewicz. When diagnosed Dr Balcewicz was appointed as my oncologist. 9x6 cm (yep cm) A left breast mastectomy with in month of diagnosis. Dr B went on holidays for a month. When she came back she wanted to have the tumour examined. Ok. She seemed more concerned about how I would feel about losing my hair. The day I was scheduled for a second appointment. She was late. Not due to another patient. No she was in the staff lounge complaining about being overwork. Ladies really shut the door so patients can’t here. Dr B got my diagnosis wrong. The treatment wrong. I fired her that day. Contacted Boston U for second opinion which is covered under most health insurance plans. Hopped on a plane for a two week breather. Came home and had amazing care from Princess Margaret Hospital. This Oncologist got it wrong so she could go on holidays. Today, I just want to let her know, my hair grew back!

My appointments are always rescheduled, not one appointment has been kept from when they are setup. That is the only downside to this doctor, she is kind and appears to be knowledgeable

Very pleasant to speak with. Straight to details- which I appreciate - no fluff. Gave me options not directions.
