I have been a patient of Dr. Wardell's for 20 years. She is very friendly, caring and takes the time to understand her patient's needs and concerns. Dr. Wardell is an excellent doctor, however I would not recommend her to anyone who is not able to wait for an appointment. She does not accept new patients, and if you are already a patient of hers, she takes about 2 months to book an appointment depending on the appointment type. If you book an appointment with Dr. Wardell and your appointment time is 9:00am, don't expect to be seated in her office until around 10:00am. Her weakest area in her profession would definitely be her punctuality. Every time I have had an appointment booked with her, I have been waiting for a minimum of 45 minutes past my appointment time to even be seated in a room.

At Dr. Wardell's office, City Center Family Physicians, the staff is very friendly and welcoming. The only complaint that I have is regarding the reception. If you call the office you will be waiting on hold to speak to a receptionist for at least 5 minutes.

In conclusion, if you have the patience and time to be a patient of Dr. Wardell's she will provide you with exceptional care.

Dr. Wardel literally saved my life and my baby's. She is soft spoken, yet firm when it's needed, knowledgeable and intuitive. I'm grateful that I was under her care.

Dr Wardell is incredible. She delivered my first baby on her day, which ended up being a long, hard labour and she was there ALL DAY!! She has gladly taken on the delivery of my second child which is coming up soon. She is extremely knowledgeable and helpful, and very calm. I absolutely adore her!!

My mother went to Dr. Wardell complaining of losing her balance and she sent her to a stomach doctor. My mother later fell and broke her hip, she had a brain tumour that was not diagnosed until she ended up in RUH. My mother was supposedly put on a waiting list for her gallbladder but was not called in 7 years. She ended up with a gallstone that went into her pancreas and died due to this.

She is an awesome doctor, she delivered both of my children and they both love her as well. She ha been my doctor for about 30 years. he takes time to sit and listen, not always precribe meds immediately. She treats all of her patients with dignity and respect. Her staff have even commented to me how good Dr. Wardell is to them. I also deal with her on a professional basis as I am a nurse. I notice how she treats her patients where I work as well. Dr. Wardell has been my family doctor for about 20 years. She is very, very compassionate, kind, thorough and takes the time to listen. Excellent bedside manner. The best thing is I've never felt like she was in a rush to just deal with me and move on. Highly recommend her.
