Dr.Genest is a good doctor overall. I have been seeing him for many years and the only issue I have is that he tends to ramble on about things. Actually diagnosing your problem takes roughly 1-2 minutes and 15-20 minutes talking about life in general.

I would highly recommend this doctor. He always took the time to try to figure out what was wrong with me. It was because he sent me to an allergist that I was able to overcome years of being very sick and losing 60 pounds in one year. All other doctors had just prescribed wrong meds or sent me for colonoscopies or gastroscopies. All I had was a soy allergy! He is very knowledgeable.

Was very unkind when my dad was dying. Didn't even bother to come & see him. Very, very poor bedside manner when my sister & I went to see him to talk to him about the condition of our dad. Would never recommend him!

He's been my Doctor for 9 years now and the longest time he spend with me was probably 20 minutes, the rest are under 10. Can't say he cares, most of the time just rushing to see the next patient. And when I complain of different body problems, he seems agitated for my other illnesses. I'm also hoping to find a different doctor and I agree with the rest of the comments regarding the receptionists. Very bad indeed and lacks politeness, often times very rude. I don't know why they hire them, very bad for business.

This so called Dr does not listen to the patient at all. I was a new patient & he could have cared less about my past medical problems, loves to just write out prescripitions & send you on your way. Also he likes to discuss other patients, listen to lies told by other patients & doesn't give you a chance to tell the truth. My neighbour just loves him but then she's out of it all the time due to the meds he keeps giving her. Worst Dr I've ever been too.

My grandmother is a patient and has multiple issues, Dr. Genest seems to be a med pusher, she was prescribed morphine and given more than the dispensable dose, she ended up in the hospital from it. Over all not a great doctor.

I have been seeing Dr Genest for over 10 years now and his care has deteriorated greatly. Since he has become a "born again christian" he has allowed his judgment to be imparied by religious beliefs. ie not prescribing birth control. His staff in his office are the worst, rude, unfriendly, unreliable etc. He really needs to retire and get it over with, he's not in it for the passion anymore, it's only about the money. You can tell when he kicks you out right at the 15min mark and says must keep going onto the next one. You only get the rating you do because of being on time. I can be guaranteed to get in on time and be out right at the 15min mark. MR. Genest, you really need to get it in check cause I can't find it within to call you a DR. anymore.

this doc is quite bad and I would recommend him at all to anybody who is sick.i am getting a new doctor very soon.to make a long story short,I am telling him what to do and where should I go and not vice versa as it should be.
