Dr. Beer was an extream dissapointment. She has a rediculous holier-than-though additude. She did not stop asking me completely unrealated questions about my personal life the entire appointment. My appointment was for 1:15 and I didnt see her until 2:00 at least. She talked down to me the entire time and looked furious when she asked "what would you do if you pregnant?" And my reply was that I would get an abortion. She seemed very closed minded. She also kept repeating herself and told me I had a yeast infection because of my poor lifestyle choices (eating fast food occasionally and not going to the gym every day) mind you I am 20 years old and at 5' 7" and 120lbs I think I can get fast food once in a while. She continually repeated everything she was saying as if I couldnt comprehend. All I wanted from her was a prescription for my infection and I wound up being haranged about my poor lifestyle choices for an hour. Sorry Dr.Beer, me and my poor life choices will go elsewhere.

She is a good doctor, at least I think she is, but she spends far too much time that could be spent interacting and listening to her patients, typing up her own patient visit notes. This practice is so insulting and ridiculous and I am offended by it each and every time it happens. Either do it after the visit, or have it done by a professional typist. She also seems locked into rather old-school ways of thinking about things like thyroid disorders, etc., not being willing to listen to ideas about hypothyroidism that perhaps is not reflected in standard lab testing, etc. Otherwise, the staff is friendly, people are helpful--just some problems that could easily be fixed with a change in attitude and hiring of a professional transcription person.

Dr. Beer is a caring doctor who is very knowledgeable. She is willing to take time to explain tests, treatments and medications.

Dr.Beer will not suport recamendations made by my surgeon's resulting in delayed treatment, health deterioration and prolonged suffering. she makes thease decisions before reviewing mri & emg test that suport my surgons opinion. she writes in my chart notes that i'm into ileagal activites involving me with the police. I proved my innocent following a investagation.
