He has treated our whole family for many years. Listens carefully, excellent diagnostician. Very knowledgable, and patient. He really keeps on top of things and has a network of the very best specialists when needed. If you do need a referral, he is still with you every step of the way.

My mother went to him many years ago. I hope he's changed since then. She had stopped breathing in the ER at Kent and he revived her, but a week later in his office, he mimicked what she looked like laying there, eyes open, not breathing, and that upset her. (wouldn't it upset you?) A year later, her weight had gone under 100 lbs. and she was just too weak to continue the chemo meds he insisted she take. He said that because she wouldn't follow his chemo recommendations, he wouldn't see her or treat her anymore when she was spending her last days in Kent Hospital. He may be knowledgeable, but not very kind.

I went to him because my husbands family all go there. THey all like him but if you don;t already know what is wrong with you, he's not gonna help. He does not listen. I had terrible foot pain and he kept telling me I had arthritis and what do I expect your getting older. OK, I was only 43 at the time. After making appts without his referral and many tests I have a growth on the nerve in my foot. I listened to him at first and spent two years in unnecessary pain. shame on me. The foot spacialist sent him a scathing letter. we have switched to another doctor. He is a nice guy and you don;t wait that long but probably need your own medical degree if you go to him.

Was not very knowledgeable on how to treat me; I will say I was eventually dx'd with 2 rare illnesses by others. But he didn't listen to what I said, didn't look at daily symptom notes I did to assist, was generally befuddled. I had no confidence in this dr. and am surprised he's still in practice.
