For a while, it was difficult to get a timely appointment, but he has started working more hours so that is no longer a problem. I find him to be approachable, interested in my reason for being there, and kind. Always on time, none of those one hour waits you can experience in other practices.

I fired this Dr. Can't make appointments more than 4 months in advance. If it's November, the next year's calendar isn't available. Was aked if a certain problem was still a problem, which the answer was yes. Response was "let's get you out of here". I also witnessed some outbursts that were unnecessary and inappropriate. Finally had enough when he changed the code from a shorter visit to a longer visit to get more insurance money. I did not see him for the longer amount of time, he should not have done that. Other than that, wait times were pretty short. I'd be back home in 45 minutes to an hour.

After being humiliated and insulted - I will never see him again. I had set my appt. for my yearly check-up. Obviously the perrson that set up the appt. didn't specify why I was there. When he asked me why I was there, I told him. He literally jumped up and went out into the area where the nurses are. And proceeded to YELL about scheduling appointments and how he didn't have time for this. It was clearly heard in the waiting room also. Even I am smart enough to know that the nurses had nothing to do with scheduling so I can only assume that this outburst was for my benefit. Well it worked. I have no intention to submit to that again. I have also since complaining of severe gas for over 6 years - went to a DR. that solved the problem in a month. Another solved the calf pain that was ignored for over 4 years. The oath of do no harm shouldn't mean "do Nothing"

Have Dr. Craton since before he added the "Dr." part. Anyone who thinks he is no compassionate is not looking for the right thing. Dr. Craton may be telling you something you didn't want to hear, but it's not his fault. He's taken care of everything I thrown at him, but not neccesarily in the manner I expected. But that's why he's the doctor and I'm the patient. I recommend him to everyone I talk to. He is hard to see on short notice, but all of the Nurse Practiioners that work there as well refere to him on most cases anyways, so it's like an extension of him when I go.

The ONLY complaint I could possibly have is that it is difficult to see Dr. Craton on short notice; otherwise he is THE BEST! Kind, gentle, caring knowledgeable, approachable, easy to talk with, listens.

He was very good Doctor to my husband and I until my husband died and he treated me like dirt.I went to him for a leave of absence and he told me that 2 weeks was all he would give me and when I told him I felt like I needed more he got really hateful with me and told me no matter what I said he was only going to give me 2 weeks, and that I needed to find me a new Doctor.I did find me a new Doctor . Only I found one with compassion, something DR Craton knows nothing about. I was married to my husband 47 years and this is something you are suppose to get over in 2 weeks??

Dr. Craton and his staff are FABULOUS!! He takes a genuine interest in his patients and when he asks how you are doing -- he really wants to know! We are considering moving to another Atlanta metro city, but we'll drive all the way back here to see Dr. Craton!
