I had a lot of questions about the written report completed on my son by one of this Doctors staff. I didn’t understand the diagnosis of ADHD and Dr Bernstein spend over and hour reviewing the report with me. He was clear, funny, gave lots of recommendations and made me feel absolutely comfortable. Without question I would recommend the Chisholm psychology practice.

I had all three of my children assessed at Dr Bernstein's clinic. There are clearly experts in Learning Disabilities, Autism and anxiety. I went there because they were the only practice I could find that did the ADOS test for ASD . I never write positive reviews but these people are so great that I just had to.

I would not recommend this place for an assessment. The assessment material was culturally biased, the Assessor was very new and needed guidance from Dr. Bernstein who 'hypothesized' that my child was ADHD prior to even doing the assessment - so he was already stereotyped before they even began. My child does not have ADHD.

What I really like about this practise is that they tend to specialize in psychoeds with kids who have school problems. I have worked in other psychologist’s office but have never seen such care snd professionalism. Every diagnosis is reviewed to ensure accuracy.

During the pandemic Dr Bernstein’s office did virtual counselling and were great. I like the way they handled the return to in office appointments. This office has the best people who truly care and know what they are doing particularly with children.

I am a public school special education teacher. My twins were assessed at Chisholm Psychology Centre many years ago. They were assessed by two of Dr B's staff AND Dr B himself made sure to meet with us. Ten years later the Chisholm staff assessed my sons for post secondary placement. I was professionally overwhelmed by the explanation and description of services that were available to my boys. I know a lot about assessments and special education. There is no other clinic I would consider for an assessment for Learning Disabilities, ADHD, ASD or anxiety.

I had all three of my boys assessed at Dr.B’s office. His admin staff are wonderful. I have never been to a more welcoming and professional office. Dr. Bernstein and his professional team are really knowledgeable. My GP made the referral after he was puzzled and so was the other specialist he referred us to. Dr B and his team at Chisholm determined that two of my boys had a nonverbal learning disability and my youngest was weak in some perceptual skills but did not have an LD. When I showed the public school the reports the Sert said that we picked the best clinic in our area. Our boys are doing well based on Dr Bs recommendations. They saved our family. I hope he never retires.

From reception to billing to the doctor himself this clinic is awesome. Had a school assessment for my son a referral to a psychiatrist for meds and counseling from Dr B. Everyone there is excellent. Barb B

Dr B is the most caring knowledgeable and funny men that I have ever met. My teenage son was out of control. In 12 sessions we had him back. My family is healthy happy and productive.
