I find that she is actually more helpful now then over the past 16 years I have been a patient.

She has been my doctor for 32 years and had delivered all my three children. She is a kind, understanding and a sincere doctor, difficult to find a nice person like her. Always, willing to hear of your health concerns. Easy to talk to.

The doctor is always very helpful and if necessary refers us to a specialist. She does not use medications unless necessary.

She seemed pleasant enough. I was referred to her by my family doctor when I was pregnant. She did not let me hear the baby's heartbeat, which was disappointing.

Concise, thorough and straight forward in all aspects of examination and asssessment. Shows genuine interest in patient's concerns. Diagnosed my wife's cancer precisely, was swift in referrals to specialists and fully attentive throughout the ensuing months. In my own situation, she has given me a regimen that has resulted in bringing my blood pressure down to normal levels and keeping it there for more than eight years. Dr. Ritenburg also diagnosed a "sun-damaged" skin condition at it's earliest stage and had me treated by a specialist immediately. The result was a complete cure within two months. My overall assessment is --excellent GP.

I'm afraid to go back as I get told to get over it and snap out of the problems that I am having. Others seem to be able to get medical help with insomnia, depression and alcoholism. I'm told to get over it. But I appreciate having a doctor as after my other doctor retired, it was very difficult to get one. We had a huge doctor shortage at the time.

Pleasant but moody. Doesn't seem to like her job. Doesn't seem to like young women. Can't read an x-ray! (3 separate occasions)Good about referring you to a specialist. Must diagnose yourself and ask for the particular drug you want. She does, however, have a good bedside manner if you're in the hospital.
