Dr Gordon Russle saved my arm. I had a severe fracture to my arm. I had what was called a floating elbow. The nerves were damaged and the brachial artery severed. It resulted in approximately 8 hours of no circulation to my arm due to how remote the incident was. This occurred in 1999 and I was in my 20s. There were other specialists that worked ok my arm but Dr Gordon Russle was who put it back together. Thank you Dr Russle.

Dr Russell replaced both of my knees at the same time 5 years ago, it was the best decision I ever made! Dr Russell was professional easy to talk to, he allowed me to decide when the time was right for me, everything went off without a hitch. At 5 years out I'm still very grateful for Dr Russell!!

I have seen this Dr (aka Horse Dr) several times over the past and have not had good success. I do not feel comfortable with a Dr that cannot communicate what they are about to do (very roughly). Not my first rodeo with my knee but also know it is not necessary to be that painful.

This so called Doctor made my knee worse after he operated on me . It appears from these reviews that he is very incompetent and doesn't care for his patients. He probably is more interested in his " paycheck ". He should do the Public a favor and RETIRE !!!

He completed surgery on my ankle and fixed it up great. He doesn’t say much but he is hilarious if you hear him crack a joke. I like that he’s not into babying his patients. He told me less than three weeks after surgery to walk on my foot with the cast thing and not rely on crutches. It helped me heal faster in the end.

Dr Russell did my knee replacement and two years later hip. I got along good with both but had two tears in my glute muscles and took a long time in therapy to get strong. Three years later still going through this

Worst doctor out there... he does NOT care one bit about his patients... and his receptionist staff have adopted the same attitude. He doesn't listen to the patient, instead just sends them for cortisone shots. He brushes off all your pain and problems as ... "nothing too crucial". This doctor should not be allowed to practice.

Dr.Russell is nothing more then a Butcher. I saw him after I had an MRI on my knee , the MRI stated I had a total ACL tear and torn meniscus . After he scoped my knee he told me that my ACL was only 60% torn and he said he removed meniscus from my knee. I saw him again about 5 years later he scoped my knee again and told me my ACL was barely intact. I had another MRI done after Dr.Russell operated on knee for the second time the MRI stated again that my ACL WAS COMPLETELY TORN and now my k ee is bone on bone. I live with a lot of pain on a Daily basis. Dr.Russell doesn't give a rats --- about his patients and their quality of life after his brutal surgeries , he is also a LIAR . This Clown should not be a Doctor.

Excellent surgeon who has a great team working with him. My queries were answered by his nurse Jane, in person or by telephone, and my knee replacement surgery went well. Because I had been seeing Dr. Russell for cortisone shots in my knee for the last few years, I didn't have to wait to have a pre-surgery consultation and my wait for surgery seemed relatively short. The hospital staff (nurses, physio, etc.) at the Miseracordia Hospital took care of my after surgery needs (pain management) for the few days before I was discharged. I was treated professionally by all the medical staff I dealt with.
