Dr Tien is a superb doctor but I just learned he is retiring the summer of 2022 and that sucks. All these doctors now calling it quits and the young ones coming along have no knowledge or bed side manner. But good luck to you Dr Tien and I wish you all the best in what ever you decide to do.

Doctor Tien is a very king and gentle doctor with amazing knowledge. He is in the process of saving me from nasty bladder cancer and I have 100% faith in him and his abilities. He is a good man!

I wait a long time to see the Dr. We end up doing a Cystoscopy Procedure (scope) he finds stones in bladder and states he will later schedule a procedure for removal. Months pass I hear nothing but pain worsens. I call the office and its as if they never heard of me. Finally find my record and when I suggest that maybe it would be best if I see another urologist they are all over this, as state way too busy, have recently taken over another Urologist's patients. No empathy is shown for my situation what so ever. My advice to anyone would be look for another Urologist!

Dr Tien was extremely thorough and understanding in my recent experience of passing a kidney stone. He was kind, respectful , knowledgeable and committed in helping me navigate my way through the process. He made sure procedures and scans happened speedily and I felt very well taken care of. I came to Dr Tien with excruciating bladder/urethra pain that severely limited my daily functioning. He asked about urgency and frequency, and when I confirmed I also experience these, put me on a medicine for overactive bladder and sent me on my way. When I came back, I restated that the key issue is the pain. He told me he didn't know what was wrong with me, without ever doing any kind of exam or test other than a urinalysis. I suggested interstitial cystitis - which has been agreed upon by multiple of my other doctors - to which he said was impossible, I wouldn't have urgency/frequency if that were the case. Turns out, pain with urgency and/or frequency are the key symptoms of IC. Guy has no idea what he's talking about. He offered to refer me to another urologist, then when I heard nothing after 6 months, his office said there was no record of the referral and he had gone on vacation. Suddenly, a couple weeks ago, I got a letter from said urologist offering an appointment. Weird.

I saw him on 15 October and he was excellent. He fixed me up and my life returned to numeral. I really liked him. He explained things really well and took his to make sure I understood.

Dr. t'ien treated me while I was battling urosepsis urolithiasis this summer stemming from a UTI. He was kind and courteous, knowledgable and informative and thorough. I have not one complaint, and I highly recommend him!!
