Dr. Boyd is one of the most knowledgable Doc's I have ever seen. He seems to want to help as much as possible in every situation. He is very fast, but when your that good you can afford to be, unlike other Doc's.

I have had Dr. Boyd for over 25 years and while at times he appears in a hurry, I have found that he will take the time. Very impressed with him and worry that one day soon we will hear that he is retiring.

Doctor Boyd has been my Dr. for 29 yrs now. I find him very helpful and personalable. My whole family sees him and he saved my fathers life by detecting cancer early and getting him the treatment he needed. I find the staff in the office not so approachable but they seem to be getting better. I trust Dr Boyd with mine and my childrens medical needs.

Dr. Boyd was my doctor for quite a few years. Although he provided me with good service,in recent years I did wait longer and always had to make an appointment to get a simple refill. Seemed to me like he knew how to use the system to extract the most out of medicare. My neighbor had him as his doctor too until a year ago. He also has indicated his dislike with always having to visit to obtain a simple refill.

Dr.Boyd is a wonderful doctor, he has never prescribed anything to me that I didn't truely need. I hate taking pills and I find him to be more on the natural side of things, which I prefer. He is very sympathetic to my needs and always askes me how my family is doing, which makes it feel more like a friend is in the room with me, making the experience more comfortable. Being that there are long waits anywhere you go I find that *if I have an appointment I get in very close to my scheduled appointment and don't have to wait to long before Dr.Boyd gets in the room.

I have seen Dr. Boyd a couple of times as my Dr. is in the same office but was unavailable. The first time was to get a refill and he refused without even looking at my chart to get an idea of past history. He also miss wrote a perscription, the pharmacy called and faxed him 9 times over the next week toclear it up and never did get a response. The last time I seen him was over a prolonged illness and in the 8 minutes he was in the room, about 5 was spent on a lecture and then wrote a perscription without looking at my chart. On my way out I made a appt with my regular Dr. @ days later I went to my Dr and when he read the perscription from Dr Boyd the first thing he said is "stop taking it!", it seems that if he had read my chart he would have seen that my Dr had tried the same thing but the drug caused complications. Dr. Boyd seems to be in such a hurry to push people through to increase quanity that he does not care about quality. comes down to a money grab.

I have been seeing Dr. Boyd for over 25 years. He is a very good G.P. Unfortunately his staff is very impersonal and are not willing to let you communicate with the doctor unless you arrive at the office. When Dr. Boyd was at his previous practice and you had a simple question, you could leave a message with his assistant and Dr. Boyd would call you at home. Now, you cannot do this. I find his staff cold, rude and very un-proffessional. Dr. Boyd however, has remained a very kind wonderful doctor. The great thing I have always admired about Dr. Boyd is he is great at saying he is unsure about something, and sets in motion for his patients to see a specialists in order to deal with the problem.
