I will never be lucky enough to have another doctor like Dr O'Brien in my life time. I had hoped he would be the one to see me out of this world and he may still seeing as he is still with palliative care at the hospital. He took care of me, my family including my grandchildren for many years when he took over Dr . Loomers practice . I am thankful he had great secretaries Joyce, Susan his wife and sister Susan who sometimes filled in . Excellent staff . They will all be greatly missed . I wish for them all a good retirement and hope they will have a chance to travel as I am sure they planned to do . Thank you for your care and friendship all of these years .

He has been my family doc now my daughtera. Actually he is my aunts cousins parents grandparents doc as well. Extremely caring and understanding takes his time to explain things. Very knowledgeable. Joyce, well joyce is part of that team even if she can be cranky lol. His wife is wonderful and bubbly a great person to be there. I feel very fortunate to have such a wonderful doctor considering the shortage of everything medical rn .... thanks Higgs!

Chris is the best Doctor you could ever ask for, with him you are not a chart. You walk in and your greated by his wonderful wife who knows who you are without asking (Joyce is another story) then when Chris sees you he knows who you are, who your family is and what your history is without the chart. Being someone with a mental illness, talking to him is easy, he is kind and caring and listens with no judgment. Im very lucky to have a Family Doctor who cares!

Chris is a relatively good doctor however he is not the most punctual, generally speaking he runs about an hour or more behind, his receptionist Joyce cannot be bothered to answer the phone and if she does she is not pleasant to say the least, but wife who works there is wonderful.

Dr. O'Brien is a Dr. Of extreme integrity, compassion,professionalism and I could go on and on about how wonderful he is. He has been my family Dr. since 1987. I have also worked with him in the capacity of a nurse. He is respectful and always thinking of others before himself. His dedication to his patients and his love and passion is to be admired. He is a Dr. Who...when you say his name and relate he is your Dr. others become envious and say how lucky I am! Saint John is so fortunate to have him! His wife is a great asset to his practise as well!
