Dr. Abenheimer was my pediatrician ever since I can remember we never made it to my last appointment at age 18 as unbeknownst to me at the time he was beginning his own health battle. Dr. Abenheimer was extremely caring and personable he spent time getting to know his patients and always remembered you and what you had going on in your life even if he had to peak at his notes right quick to refresh his recollection. I don't know if Abenheimer would have agreed with statement but to me his holistic approach to medicine is a big part of what made him stand out as an amazing physician. He understood that events in your life, your mental state, social engagement, diet, exercise, and support network all play a major roll in well-being, disease, symptomology, and treatment; he wouldn't simply write you a refill he would check on all aspects of your well-being and see if there were any suggestions he could make to improve your quality of life even if it wasn't strictly medical in nature. Later in my teenage years I began to get chronic pain in places all over my body and other symptoms that suggested a possible undiagnosed autoimmune disease. Dr. Abemheimer was the only doctor that took my symptoms seriously and sought to find answers just as much as I wanted them. Many doctors are overwelmed with there patient load and stop putting energy into researching patients symptomology and out of the books test that can be done to find answers, but not Abenhiemer. Sadly he didn't live to diagnose me using the positive test result found by the labs he ordered. Dr. Abemheimer made such a mark on me that after his passing I waited over a year before bringing the results to my family doctor. I hope Dr. Abenhiemer got to spend his final months soaking up the love of his family and enjoying a short and beyond deserved respite after his long career of giving his love and care to countless patients through the tool of medicine and amazing bedside manners. Dr. Abenhiemer was full of life inside and outside of his practice at that is the way his patients are proud to remember him. I will continue to appreciate his care for the rest of my life and promise that when I hopefully become a health provider in the future that I will live and practice by the model he set. Rest In Peace Dr. Martin Abenhiemer you are missed and appreciate by countless people.

Dr. Abenheimer took care of me for 18 years - I started seeing him when I was 9 months old! He was one of the only doctors who took me seriously and got me in for an ultrasound the very same day I came to him complaining about abdominal pain. He is kind, gentle, and understanding. I've never met another doctor who cares so much about his work. The absolute best doctor you can find for your child.

Wonderful Pediatrician! Goes above and beyond is job description, and is incredibly warm and friendly, even though he is very busy and sees many children. We have been seeing him for nine years now and my son actually looks forward to his appointments. The receptionist, Ellen, is always accommodating and friendly to our family on visits and phone calls. Anyone that is waiting on a referral or looking for opinions, Dr. Abenheimer is well worth any wait!
