Unprofessional and emotional doctor. She has strong personal opinions against the private medical care system and refuse to accept new patient that had previous seeked help from a private care giver. During the first appointment, I was given the ultimatum to choose between her and my private oncologist on the spot 5 mins into our consultation. And when I couldn’t make a choice on the spot, I was denied a follow up appointment “in order not to waste the spot again for someone else that needs care”. I was told that my case will not be accepted since she does not wish to waste her time on a privileged patient like me. When asked for her medical opinion, all she can provide is the “worst case scenarios”, which does not provide any comfort to a newly diagnosed cancer patient. when pressed for her opinion, she declined to provide any citing that she has not been practicing radiology oncology in 10 years.
Although I appreciate her honesty and share her frustration withe our public health care system, I found her behaviour to be disrespectful and unprofessional. This was a truly unpleasant experience since I was treated unfairly with prejudice and my questions were ignored by her.

Lovely Dr. Empathique, ready to help you in the best way, even she seems very younger ( in the earlier 50th) she has a lot of experience. Very comprehensive and diligent, I loved it.

Dr. Yassa took the time needed to help me and my sister. We are so grateful to have fallen upon this wonderful, kind and brilliant physician at Hotel-Dieu Hospital. Thank you Dr. Yassa. God bless you and your family.

Dr Yassa is an angel. She is so human and without her, it will be much stressful. I will not say enough thank you for all you did for me. Why I didn't put excellent for the punctuality, because she is talking the time that it need with each patient, so yes she might be late, but we need more doctor listening their patients like you did. I didn't feel like we are a number but really a human. Je ne vous dirais jamais assez merci. Merci de prendre le temps pour vos patients...nous sommes chanceuses de vous avoir. J'espère que votre contrat sera renouvellé dans des conditions favorables pour vous...il serait vraiment dommage de vous perdre. Thank you Dr. Yassa!

Je l'ai rencontre a l'hopital Hotel-Dieu pour une consultation. Je suis vraiment chanseuse d'etre sa patiente, elle m'a donne tout le temps pour me conforter, expliquer et surtout m'aider a passer a travers toutes mes inquietudes. Tres professionelle, meticuleuse et excellente examinatrice.

C'est un ange.Ce n'est pas son rôle d'expliquer les nouvelles normes appliqué par la clinique. Elle doit se consacrer à son travail, qui consiste à soigner ses patientes. Si elle perd du temps à expliquer les décisions de l'administration. Elle retardera des patientes qui attendent souvent avec appréhension le diagnostique de leur mammographie. Et si elle est habituellement en retard, c'est qu'elle prend le temps de répondre aux questions médicales personnels énoncées par la patiente. Elle a toujours pris le temps avec moi, qui est très anxieuse et réussi toujours à me rassurer par son attitude et sa compassion.

Wow, I have seen her a few times in the past few years but this time she was just plain unprofessional and rude (twice in 3 weeks). Always with that stupid smile and say *I won't spend half an hour explaining the new rules, it's not my job, it's the administration's job to explain it ( she literally turned her back to me and walked away when I asked her a question..BOTH times*. Although she did spend some of my 4 minutes there talking to a colleague about adding extra hours the next day and confirming it with that person on her cell phone about it. Since I was waiting, she also told me to get dressed there while I was waiting (with her colleague there with us)...I can go on, but I don't have enough space. The *Administration* was VERY nice though. I never complain about doctors because I know they have a lot on their plate, BUT there is a limit.
