He is never on time lol but if you have been with him for awhile you understand its because he takes all of the time you need once you get in. My family has been seeing him since my mom was two. I'm 30 lol I honestly have no idea what I am going to do once he retires which I hope is in a long long time. He is the best and so smart. Even if he doesn't know something he will pull out the big medical book right infront of you and look it up instead of being a big hot shot and pretending to know everything and anything to do with medicine. (which ive seen in the past) if your lucky enough to get in with him, stay you'll never find another doctor like him xoxo

This Dr. is profoundly wonderful. He is kind and smart and the ultimate definition of Family Dr. I would be lost without him. I have been seeing him for 40 years !!! His office is often full and you may have to wait, but I do not mind the wait because his medical care is priceless. The staff are ok... they seem a bit indifferent, but again... I shall tolerate their mannerisms for the joy of having Dr. Teixeira care for me. Thank-you Dr. T. with all my heart for all you have done for me for 4 decades.

Doctor Teixeira is an awesome physician. Our family has been his patients for over 30 years. He is definitely the best doctor in Ontario; we would not hesitate giving a recommendation. Dr. T is extremely knowledgeable, caring and funny: D No matter how worried you are about going for your appointment you always leave feeling that much better. Although there's a super long wait time it’s always worth it.

Dr Texeria has been my doctor from birth. He is amazing. The wait is long but it is well worth it. He gives you his full attention and does not rush you. Would not trade him for anything. I am not looking forward to his retirement.

I'v been going to Dr. T for at least 15 years and can say that he is very helpful. He spends a lot of time with patients but that also leaves people waiting for their appointment waaaay too long. In terms of mental health though, I find him to be very old fashioned. He definitely needs to take some professional upgrading or at least address his biases and assumptions about mental health. I've had him basically tell me to 'deal with it' on more than one occasion followed with referrals that discredit the seriousness of mental health. He's a good doctor if you know what you want and ask him for exactly what you need. I also find that over the years, he doesn't seem as confident in his judgments and it seems as though the lack of upgrading and age is affecting his competence. I hope he does something about it before he does overlook something and gets into trouble.

Dr Teixeira refuses to compromise the care he gives his patients. He works under immense pressure. The time per patient "regular visit " recommended is 10 minutes. It is impossible to do a thorough exam in this time. That's why we wait --- for superlative care. OHIP pays for one problem per visit. The pay is the same no matter how long it takes.(I work for the system). He should try this? No more waiting/and no extra questions. He won't do it.

The best doctor, been with him since I came to canada in 1978. You have to wait to see him but it's worth the wait, he sit and talks to you, listen to what you have to say and never rushes you.

Dr. T is one of the rare doctors who does not rush you out due to time constraints. No one likes to wait, but honestly, when I have to wait for a doctor it means that they actually take the time to get to the problem rather than writing a script and sending you on your way. Dr T got me into see specialists super fast. He was the only one who could diagnose my childhood illness which baffled a team of doctor and pediatricians before him. He has helped my whole family, even helped me quit smoking when I took it up for a few years in university. This man is dedicated to his job and his patients. He is worth every minute of wait time because he will make you feel better and he will care about your progress and recovery. He is a brilliant, kind and compassionate man.

I am passionate about how wonderful this Dr. is. I too have been with him for almost 35 years. Once I moved away and actually grieved the loss of him as my Dr. Yes, you have to wait to see him. But I care not about this. I use it as a time to be quiet while I sit in the waiting room and relax. I organized my day to account for the time I have to wait and appreciate that I can just sit and not have to be anywhere else (sometimes it is the only time I get to read, imagine). It is a small price to pay for a Dr. that seems to be heavenly sent to serve us. I am eternally grateful to the Dr. I thank him with all my heart. Even though I rated the front desk staff as a 3, it is not that I criticize them. They have a profound weight on their shoulders trying to manage things. They too are angels.
