I only once had an issue with Dr. Taylor's abruptness. My daughter was diagnosed with 3rd degree heart block in the ER. On our follow-up visit, in front of her, he says "You know the next degree is death, right?" She was 6 at the time.
As for myself, he prescribed a medication without telling me it creates a dependency, and 6 years later I still have to take it. At the time of prescription there were other options. Now I have painful withdrawal symptoms if I miss a dose. (And no, I'm not a junkie. This stuff is necessary for living) Dr. Taylor was very sad when I had suffered a stroke caused by a neck trauma, and showed a very humane side of himself. We share symptoms in common, and what I've always admired is he doesn't waste words. Yes, he's abrupt, if you want to be coddled, go see your mother. Almost every problem I've had has been addressed, and he's never once suggested narcotics. And yes, he's sometimes a dick, I'm not so nice all the time either, so give the guy a break.

Dr Taylor has been my physician for almost five years now has seen menthrough three major back surgeries and is amazing. Also physician for my two kids. He is abrupt..sometime.... Not everyone likes him..that's okay maybe he doesn't like you. Just because he is a doctor doesn't mean he has to put up with whiny rude self centered patients he is human himself and fighting Ms at the same time.He always finds what's wrong and tries things until he finds what works for you. I'm glad he is the way he is keeps the junkies out of the waiting room.He stared me down sizing me up the first time as well...I just started back sizing him up and we have clicked everbsince then. Wish all the whiners would stop being self centered and rude. All my paperwork has always been done within two weeks. Not a complaint about him

I have asked Dr. Taylor on 6 occasions to see a phychiatrist over the last year. Still waiting. He told me he is allow 3 months to fill out my short term paper. Is this correct??????. I suffer from bad depression, and he is just making it more unbearable for me. It's not far that a client should be treated in this manner.

going to my 1st visit with this doctor was not a good experience. First off your given a stare down before you say anything..then I was not examined for my complaint.. went for a 2nd visit and still felt I had no doctor/patient connection.. I find he dismisses you with your complaints and truly doesn't seem to care... I don't go often to the doctors so when I do go there is something wrong.. I will not be going back to this doctor.

I have nothing good to say about this Dr, I haven't gone to him but my mother has and is in the process of changing Dr's, after on going medical problems to which Dr Taylor didn't address. When my mother demanded him to send her for further tests regarding these health issuses he became very rude with her telling her he didn't have all day that there were other patients waiting to see him after he had already been 2 hours late. On another occasion prevoursly she had blood work come back with some issues, when my mother asked him what he was going to do about this he replied I'll have to get back to you and never did, there has been many more episodes with him where he has been the same way very rude and rushing her out of his office. The final straw for my mother was when she recently ended up in the hospital only to find out she has blood cancer and if Dr Taylor would have listened to her and done his job as a Dr we would have known earlier.

Just started with him and he seems quite good so far. He changed my medication to one that's actually working and ordered the correct tests for me; something my recent doctors couldn't get done. I hesitate to give recommendations but given what's available out there for docs taking patients, this guy seems on the ball.
