I can't agree more with the poor reviews of this man, if you do get sick you are in big trouble. I was rushed to emerge a few years back and they didn't think I was coming out. He came up once in 2 weeks and said to me oh yeh, I checked your records and you've been complaining about pain there for a few years..huh? Yeh! Huh??? He told me to I could lose weight if I stopped eating breakfast and when I asked him about chronic pain in my thumb he asked me if I could live with it...yeh! Huh???

I prefer to not see any doctor then to see Blair. He is rude, and not knowledgeable. I have no idea how he is has his doctors licence.

Went to him after moving to Ontario. On my first visit, he did not check anything. Not my height, weight, blood pressure, lymph nodes, NOTHING! A few weeks later I went to see him again as I was feeling extremely ill (running a high fever, couldn't breathe right, loss of voice), not even checking my temperature he basically told me to walk it off. A few day later I ended up in the hospital with severe headache, coughing and sneezing out puss and blood. Turns out I had a severe sinus infection and needed antibiotics. He also told me to douche with vinegar when I asked for a gynaecological exam. Again, never even checking me! ANYONE who says he's up to date is living in the 1970's. He is the most negligent doctor I have ever seen in my life, he basically doesn't want to deal with anything (doesn't perform any check-ups, neither routine, nor urgent ones), and does not care at all. Completely apathetic! Have since switched to a real doctor.

I have read all of the above stories and if it were not for his family member giving this dotor positive review the rating would be closer to the truth. He is the only doctor that has his own coleagues giving him a poor rating. This speaks volumes in itself. I need not tell my story. In all of my life I couldn't believe my ears, when other Doctors had nothing good to say about this man abilities as a doctor.

My family (2+ generations) has been going to Doc Fraser for years. He has has always explained the reasons for his advice. He is up to date and practices what he preaches. He is not a pill pusher or one to order unnecessary tests & explains that- (many are driven by media hype).I can always get an appt. to meet my needs and don't wait once I'm there. The staff are helpful and caring. I feel we benefit from his many years of experience. We feel he knows us well and treats us as indviduals. I figure people who complain aren't tellin the real story. We've had friends go somewhere else and boy do they regret that.I'll be sad the day he retires but he seems dedicated & said he's not going anywhere soon.

This hack almost killed my husband by giving him the wrong dosage of medication. Now my husband lives with the consequences which was a major stroke. My biggest regret was that I didn't sue him.

I have been a patient of Dr Fraser for many years. I have found him very friendly and sensitive to my concerns but I have also noticed that if my complaints or my symptoms are vague and unclear, he adopts a minimalist approach. He does not rush to prescribe (particularly antibiotics) and suggests that the problem will likely resolve itself. In my case, he has proved correct in all such assessments; my problems did resolve themselves. That said, whenever I have had a clear and focused problem or an initially vague one that persisted, I have found him highly responsive and more than ready to prescribe medications and make referrals. He takes the time to talk to me and frequently directs me to the literature relevant to my current issue. I confess that, early on, I found his conservative approach to medicine a little concerning but I have learned to trust him and he has learned to understand me. I am fully satisfied with his care.

This so called doctor did not properly moniter a family members condition, which has resulted in a very legthly hospital stay in which the paitent almost died twice. Do not go to this doctor, he should retire. It would be better to go to the ER and wait for 10+ hours then to go to this hack!

Dr. Fraser is an excellent family practitioner. I have been a patient of his for many years. He has been my physician through all of my 3 pregnancies and provided knowledgeable and suppotive care. He always discusses my concerns with me and goes into great detail when explaining diagnoses and rational for his treatments. He does not over prescribe antibiotics which we should all appreciate with the current increase in drug resistant organisms. He is also always aware of the latest research studies. It is never difficult to get an appointment, many times the same day, which is unheard of in many other practices. He has also called me several times at home to discuss a concern especially ones pertaining my children who are also patients of his. His staff are amazing, kind and knowledgeable. They work extremely well together as a team. They always listen to my concerns and never make me feel unheard. I think Dr. Fraser is an incredible doctor and would recommend him to anyone.
