Great DR had him for over 15 years. Trusted in my diagnosis when I was ill and would prescribe meds to fit those needs. Would give time to understand various problems as well during visits.

Dr. Tilbe has had me as a patient for close to 20 years. He has helped me through many issues and still remains and excellent doctor. I will be sad to see him retire from his practise when the day comes. I haven't had the need for a GI in some time, yet he still follows my health and works well with a team down in London, Ontario. He will gladly perform test and follow up on results in cooperation with the other physicians. I cannot thank Dr. Tilbe enough for all he has done for me.

This doctor told me that there was nothing that can be done besides being pushed for pills for my severe reflux disease. I was told repeatedly that I should live with the way that I am. I walked out of there dismayed and depressed. Thank God I was referred to Dr. Ewing-Bui who has repaired my hiatus hernia almost five years ago. I am very happy and have felt so much more alive, and well ever since that surgery that was done through four small holes, and I was home the same day. I am forever grateful to Dr. Ewing-Bui.

This doctor is excellent. I’ve had him for 11 years for Crohn’s disease and still see him. Nicest man and answers all your questions. Even apologizes if he’s 5 minutes late. He is extremely knowledgeable with Crohns and if it wasn’t for him, not sure where I would be. Thanks Dr Tilbe for taking great care of your patients!!!

Just an amazing doctor.He knew what was wrong just by speaking with me and then confirmed it with medical tests. He know his stuff and would highly recommend him .

I left a comment about Dr. Tilbe being like my guardian angel in 2011. Well my opinion has changed totally. I don't know if he has lost interest in being a Dr. or what. But he has changed . My last visit to him in Alliston ,ont. was 4 yrs. ago and I was not impressed what so ever. I have not returned and I am in the process in looking for a new Dr. to help me with my Crohns disease. I think Dr. Tilbe should retire. His heart and soul just don't seem to be there anymore. My advice for people is to look for another Dr. who can help them.

Dr. Tilbe is one of the nicest doctors I have met. I deal with crohn's, and ileostomy, and fibromialgia. He has given me some great advice that has helped. In the few times I have seen him, he was 1/2 hour late for one appointment...not but for seeing a specialist. I am fortunate to have access to him.

After having Crohn's for 40 years and now with an iliostomy which is shrinking and becoming problematic with a hernia around it, I tried to explain this to Dr. Tilbe, and that the only scope that worked was a small pediatric one. He seemed to be listening.
When the procedure was done, he left me wide awake, no medication at all, and tried to inset the usual sized scope, which could not fit inside by stoma, causing me pain, bleeding and discomfort.
All this Dr. did was swear and walk out. The initial appt. was for nothing, and the procedure was for nothing, both having taken 5 hours of travel in Northern Ontario. Never again.

Dr. Tilbe's been my gastroenterologist for a number of years now. Not sure what happened, but over the last year he has dropped the ball every chance he's had. If it wasn't for my other doctors trying to help I would have received no care. I'm waiting for my referral to another gastroenterologist to go through so that my disease can hopefully get adequate treatment. I am truly concerned that staying under his care may lead to serious complications that could otherwise be prevented.
