Excellent explanation of what he was going to do. Good play-by-play commentary on what he was doing. Painless journey to get the extraction and graft done. Worst part was the needle and that wasn’t even bad. If you afraid to go to a dentist, you will change your mind once you visit Dr. MacLennan

This is my fourth implant done be the same doctor. All went good. But the best about the surgery was the doctor that I chose. He is always professional, confident, and knowledgeable.

I had 4 wisdom teeth removed, and had upper jaw surgery to complete the work braces couldn't do in order to fix my bite. The consulting, checkups, and actual surgery for both wisdom teeth and upper jaw were flawless. Dr MacLennan was always very thorough in explanations, was open to questions, and always confident in his abilities as well as the abilities of my orthodontist. This gained him my full trust and respect. I can't say enough about the professionalism, knowledge, and RESULTS I received from Dr Miles MacLennan and his team! An outstanding oral surgeon, in my humble opinion.

Dr. MacLennan removed 3 of my wisdom teeth last month and it went very smoothly. Everyone, from the front desk staff to the nurses to Dr. MacLennan himself, made me feel extremely comfortable and eased my anxiety about the procedure. Dr. MacLennan went over my x-rays with me prior to the procedure and ensured that all my questions were answered. The procedure itself was very short and efficient, and I received thorough aftercare instructions before I left the clinic. I did not have any complications after the surgery and my swelling was very minor, which is a testament to Dr. MacLennan's expertise. I am extremely pleased with the care I received from Dr. MacLennan and his staff and I would recommend him to anyone.

Recently had all four wisdom teeth removed by Dr. MacLennan, overall horrible experience. He dismissed my questions and concerns simply brushing them off or blaming myself for severe swelling and pain. I was hospitalized for four days after my surgery with an infection and when I brought this up with Dr. MacLennan he stated that I did not have an infection and this type of pain and swelling is perfectly normal. I took extremely well care of my mouth so I did not see how that was possible. I ended up having dry sockets in all four corners which he also stated was completely normal and happens quite often. When he was packing the dry sockets he gave me freezing but did not wait more than three seconds before packing, therefore my freezing had not even set in. Dr MacLennan was extremely rough on my face when packing the dry sockets, I left the office in extreme pain. He overall had awful bedside manors, he was in and out of the room with no time for questions or conversation. Removal of the packed gauze went smoothly with the nurse, absolutely no pain, but when Dr. MacLennan removed the final two he was once again rough and put my mouth through pain. I would never see Dr. MacLennan again.

Disappointed in staff who did want me to stay in operative room when procedure being performed very condescending attitude! Never politely said yes of course you can stay I than became defensive stated I knew my rights! Also never once visualized staff perform hand hygiene and when they were asked did you wash your hands became defensive! Office needs some culture change to become client centred!
