I`ve been seeing Dr. Lupul for several years & have never been happy with her as a physician, but due to the lack of doctors taking new patients in Airdrie, I`ve been forced to continue on as her patient. I find her to be very dismissive with any and all issues that I`ve come to see her about. I very rarely visit the doctor so when I actually do, it`s for something that I`m quite concerned about, so dismissiveness is not what I need. I recently saw her to get a referral to a pediatrician for my daughter and found her EXTREMELY rude and very unreluctant to issue the requested referral. Even my 8 and 11 year old daughters commented on her being so obviously rude. She indicated several times that the referral request would likely be denied and didn`t understand why she couldn`t simply handle whatever issues my daughter might have as a patient. That visit confirmed for me that I do, in fact, need to find a new physician and will be doing so.

Dr. Lupul is an amazing practioner. Unlike numerous other doctors I've been engaged with - her office is always on time, knowledgable of current medical practices, and always willing to take the time to discuss any questions or concerns that arise. Keep up the fantastic work Sheri!

Was referred to this woman for prenatal care. She asked if I had receive the H1N1 shot and I said no as I do not believe in vaccination. She got quite rude and spent 5 minuts telling me I WOULD get H1N1 and that my baby could/would die. She kept repeating that last part over and over and rudley recommended I "just stay home". I would not recommend her to anyone and have requested another referral as I cannot imagine having to deal with her through my last few months or delivery.

So far so good. No, I agree she is not going to win any Miss Congeniality awards but that is not what this is all about. I called up my birth records (from 1st pregnancy) from Toronto and had them sent to her office - she sat and went over them with me in detail to calm any fears I might have had about a VBAC. I have learned over time to accept that not all doctors are the warm fuzzy bunny type but when push (ha ha) comes to shove, as long as they are getting the job done is what matters. If she says somthing is normal and you don't agree, get a second opinion if it will make you feel better...that's your right. Now, let's see if I feel the same way AFTER the delivery! LOL

I too saw Dr Lupul during my first pregnancy. The best word I can use to describe her is DISINTERESTED. She didn't explain anything to me, brushed off my concerns. I felt lucky when she was not there for my delivery- which is pretty sad. I would not recommend her to anybody- make the trip into Calgary and get more caring care.

Absolutely LOVED her. She was very good in explaining everything to me, and she was very good in calming me down after my previous doctor neglected to do something that has put some complications on my unborn child

I enjoy meeting with Dr. Lupul. As with all other doctors out there, she is rushed; however, if I need extra time she gives it to me. She is knowledgeable and has been extremely helpful and I trust her more than almost any other doctor that I've had... except for 1. I don't know what I'll do if she ever decides to leave Airdrie.

Dr. Lupal is knowledgeable and compassionate. Of course she is rushed - like every other doctor out there. I wonder what people expect when they go to the doctor. They want to be seen on time but expect prolonged coddling… I appreciate her thoroughness and her ability to zero in on the cause of my problem quickly and efficiently. Even though she was not taking on new patients, she welcomed my mother to her practice and took care of her while she was living with me. I wish all doctors were as efficient and kind and got to the point as quickly as she did. I loves that she respects my time and is punctual. I am usually in and out in 10 minutes because she knows her stuff and does not hesitate to refer me to a specialist or order tests if she sees fit.
