I love this guy. He is very easy to talk to. He explains everything in terms that I can understand. He calls me with good or bad results the same day. He's the only doctor I know that calls when there is nothing wrong. How much can that get.

-Dr. Nelson is a busy guy. But, he is very courteous, caring, and knowledgeable. He spends whatever time needed to answer all of your questions. He will get back to you, the same day, if you leave him a message about a question you have. He is truely interested in solving your health care problems, and keeps in mind the costs associated with treatment or special tests. He will refer you to a specialist if needed. He has knowledge enough to recommend a good specialist if needed. He will discuss options, for treatment with you, gives recommendations, and will listen to your feedback. Overall, I am very pleased with Dr. Doug Nelson. Comment on staff......I'm not impressed with the older nurse that works with Dr. Nelson. She is courteous, but, is very inconsistant with her blood pressure readings.
