Dr. Roy has been my doctor for at least 15 years. I have known him to be patient and to listen well to any concerns I have presented to him. He has offered good council when needed.

Dr. William Andrew Roy is my husband G.P. and the best doctor one could have. I am extremely saddened by certain comments about Dr. Roy. I am also extremely appalled by the harsh decision of the Discipline Committee of the College of Physicians and Surgeons of Ontario. Dr. Roy has been practising since 1970 and, he is extremely competent. Depriving his patients for 3 months was insane. On Nov 7, 2018 - My husband was at emerge at Lakeridge Health Oshawa. After x-rays of his LUMBAR SPINE results, Dr. NIE, CHUANYI (from Emerge) prescribed (20) TEVA-OXYCOCET 5MG/325MG and (8) APO-BACLOFEN to my husband. My husband is 69 year old and only took 6 of TEVA-OYYCOCET and (3) APO-BACLOFEN. He allucinated so badly, he thought of dying. Why these narcotics are still used in the hospital and what give an emerge doctor the right to prescribe these narcotics and by the same breath accuse a family doctor/GP of professional misconduct? Dr. Roy has been treated unfairly and it is aberrant that a note in his office has to humiliate/reprimand him. The system is not fair. A doctor with so much integrity like Dr. Roy and still practising for his patients, he deserves respect by all. I cannot accept this kind of decision rendered about him. Perhaps it is time that his satisfied patients sign a petition and honor him for his work well done, his professionalism and a physician highly regarded.

Was not surprised to hear that Dr. Roy was reprimanded by the College of Doctors and Physicians. It should have happened years ago. Beware!!

Doctor Roy over prescribed a number of oxycodone, dilaudid, hydromorphone, morphine
pills that nearly killed me. He should compensate me for cruel and unusual punishment.

I have been a patient of Dr Roy for almost 20 years and in all that time I can honestly say that he has NEVER behaved inappropriately, nor has he misspoken or suggested or gestured anything but professionalism. He is a wonderful, caring doctor, who has looked after me and my family very well. To read some of the egregious comments written about him is very disheartening.

Dr. Roy has been my family doctor all of my life, and I dread the day he retires and I need to find a new one. The complaints below are absolutely ridiculous. Dr. Roy intimidating a little girl, and swearing in his office? Outright lies!

Dr Roy has been my family doctor since 1996. During that time I have always found him to be courteous and respectful. His diagnosis of my various ailments has always been 100% accurate and his recommended prescriptions and solutions 100% effective. I would recommend him unreservedly to anyone seeking a family physician.
