Dr. Bergeron is compassionate, caring, and extremely professional. I have been seeing him for 6 years and I have nothing but good things to say about him and his staff.

I’ve been seeing Dr. Bergeron for 12 years and I am so grateful to have found a psychiatrist that is so compassionate, knowledgeable and accessible. His staff at his Gatineau office are amazing and responsive. It’s been challenging to see him regularly the past year or so because of the pandemic, which has been a bit destabilizing, but things are getting back on track, hopefully. Just a truly incredibly dedicated doctor who cares about his patients.

I was blocked from communicating with Dr. Bergeron during the pandemic. I was in a deep state of depression dealing with the lockdowns and restrictions. My mother was diagnosed with terminal illness and I was prevented from seeing her in her last days. I needed help badly and Richard Bergeron BLOCK my communications. He should be held to account.

I have been seeing Dr. Bergeron for 2 years now for my anxiety and depression. So helpful and understanding. Always asks for updates on my life and how everything is going. At this point, he has seen my whole family so he knows the history. My life has gotten so much easier since I started seeing him. Thank you for the help Dr. Bergeron!

Have been seeing Dr. Bergeron for 25 yrs. for anxiety and depression. Always professional, cares about his patients, has filled out many forms and written letters for insurance so I can get disability, helped with appeals, etc. I can call and leave message with assistant, if urgent he calls me back. He listens to suggestions and we decided together on treatment plan. Sometimes meetings have been short but this is the exception, not the norm. I have referred 2 friends and my own mother who are also satisfied. I give him a 9 out of 10.

I have been with him for approximately 2.5 years. He diagnosed me with schizophrenia/bipolar disorder. Kept giving me more meds and increasing dosages until I couldn’t function anymore. Never not once did he advise me to get a blood test. He is never available during emergencies. It got to the point where I was on the verge of liver failure and heart failure from all the drugs he was giving me. I complained multiple times about my symptoms to him and he said all is fine keep taking the medicine. I finally stopped the medications on my own and don’t have a single symptom of either schizophrenia or bipolar disorder. This doctor literally, and I mean literally, almost caused my death. I am truly contemplating suing him for malpractice. Please stay away from him, and if you have sick children I plead with you for their sake don’t take them to him. I truly believe his medical license should be revoked.
