Staff is not punctual at all. No call backs, when messages are left. you have to be the one to initiate to see if they've recieved my call . Dr. Mohan is always very kind, to the point.

Dr Mohan ist awesome. He listened when all the other doctors chalked my symptoms up to anemia and depression. The staff, however, sucks. They don't follow up. Make promises they don't keep. And they go against what the doctor wants.

Felt very rushed through the appointment. After 4 or 5 questions I was diagnosed and sent on my way. Very discouraging!!! Will not recommend him nor will I go back.

(At my first visit he also ordered the wrong MRI) At second visit I tried to explain my symptoms and was cut off by Dr. Mohan. In less than five minutes I was given samples of Trokendi and prescribed to take it until I found a good dose. Within a week I lost my vision (which the pharmacist had specifically warned me was a rare but very serious side effect) and so I called Dr. Mohan for what to do. He told his assistant to tell me hours after I called "he had never heard of any connection between eye problems and Trokendi, so I should just call my family doc." I was blind and stranded, went to the ER since that's what the drug insert recommended, and didn't regain my vision for a week.

He didn't know the major side effects of the drug he was prescribing, didn't respond to me when I needed urgent help, and didn't care to read the drug insert.

Made assumptions of issue and ordered tests for the wrong side of my body, he also ordered an MRI for my neck when I needed an MRI for my shoulder. All I can say is this guy was looking out for him, not me.

Never even got in to see him. Receptionist put me on hold *eight times* when I called for the initial appointment. She later called me at work saying she could move the appointment up (and then couldn't do so.) Weeks pass. Days before the appointment, she calls to say he's not available after all, expecting me to change time off I've already asked for in order to accommodate the doctor's last-minute schedule changes. If this is happening before I get in, what kind of care am I going to get once I get there?

Was sent to Mohan for headaches I'd been having. He breezed right through the consult without even looking at me as I described my symptoms. He quickly wrote a scrip for Topamax, but did not tell me any instructions other than to gradually increase the dosage. He gave me a few sample bottles and was walking out the door when I finally told him that I had blind spots on my vision that wouldn't go away. He said this was common in migraines, not to be concerned. I literally had to shout "WAIT!" to get him to listen to me. He finally looked into my eyes and saw that my optic nerves were swollen. He then referred me to another doctor, who was a cosmetic surgeon?! That doctor later referred me to someone who had treated my rare neurological disease. He faxed a letter to Mohan stating that I didn't need any further services from him. The staff also kept calling me nonstop to make a followup appointment and called me with a date and time to come in. I was charged a noshow fee despite canceling

I'm very shocked by the comments left here about Dr. Mohan. The man SAVED my life - listened to me when no one else would. Part of his treatment for me was to see an endocronoligist. When I could not get in to see anyone SOON (i.e. - I was given a 8-10 week wait), the man sat there, in the room with me, and he called the cell phones of endocronologists that he trusted - and got me in to seeing someone that very same day. I don't know of ANY physician - family doctor or specialist - that would go to these lengths for a patient.

I agree, he didn't listen. He read my other doctor's notes and gave me medicine. When I expressed my concerns he quickly brushed them away and made me feel stupid for asking questions.
