After explaining that my boyfriend had been throwing up for over 72 hours and that he only found comfort in showers, even before meeting my boyfriend, the Dr had made a diagnosis. We came in during flu season. The doctor never looked in his ears, his nose, his throat, or listened to his chest. After running blood work and waiting an extremely long time, the dr returns to tells us that he has a very rare syndrome with little to no actual evidence or supporting facts. Treats my boyfriend as though he's a drug addict, raised his voice at everyone in the room on a number of occasions. The dr inappropriately slammed his hands on my boyfriends ankles and legs multiple times while raising his voice. When both my boyfriend and I called him out on inconsistencies in what he was saying he raised his voice louder. I asked why he was raising his voice and why he refused to swab him for influenza or strep, which turned into more of him raising his voice and rudely condescending both of us. Dr Gustafson tried to diagnosis him with a vary rare syndrome caused from smoking too much weed, yet refused to clear him of any other possibilities. Then continued to lecture and inappropriately slam his hands onto my boyfriend. We had to go to another hospital the following day to find out that my boyfriend has a cyst in his liver and a hernia around his bellybutton. Request a new dr or refuse to been seen by this doctor. Who knows what he will diagnosis you with while refusing to give you proper care. Absolutely disgusted with his behavior and he is fortunate we're not confrontational people.

It started with him being extremely rude to the ambulance members that brought me to the hospital. One of the Nurses in the ER either completely ignored what they had to say or she would say things just to try to get under their skin... it didn't work. The incredibly arrogant doctor then spoke rudely about them after they left and thought he was being entertaining. I wish he had half the bedside manner that they had. He was also rude and short with myself and my family members even thought it wasn't very busy that night. I will not go to that ER again, insurance or not.

Poor delivery of overall service, extremely ineffective and condescending rapport with client and family. Would not recommend, as ER constraints limited our ability to choose physician this inconsiderate individual was chosen to treat our beloved family member.
