He is a tough guy to get in touch with through his office, but I am glad we have him here in Belleville. He's done a number of procedures on me, none of them too pleasant, of course, but he's always been helpful, kind and he does have a sense of humour! I feel totally secure with him as my doctor, because he is very knowledgeable and thorough. I don't think he'd miss a thing.

I am very glad I was referred to Dr Berezny several years ago. He determined I needed a specialized operation, referred me to a great surgeon (Dr Mercer) for the proceedure. I have had no problems in over 15 years as a result. I see him annually for a scope to keep an eye on the problem. I appreciate his knowledge and trust his judgement. We are lucky to have him at our hospital.

Not properly diagnosed. Operated and pancrease was damaged by stint. Had to be sent to another hospital to have life saving surgery.

"Day Surgery" ended up as almost ending my life. Had to have further surgery at another hospital to undo the damage done. Very tramatic to myself and family.

Good doctor,knows what he is doing,but severly lacks in bedside manner. Explains things pretty much only when asked (assumes u already know). Can be a little frustrating personality wise. Sometimes doesn't listen to patients complaints and goes in his own direction. He IS good at what he does...it's just his personality that lacks.

I found Dr. Berezny to be competent and gentle. Makes a huge difference when having sensitive procedures done. Would ask to be referred back to him.
