I have never been so uncomfortable with a doctor in my entire life. He was very rude and unprofessional. He demanded answers to questions that he asked that were irrelevant and extremely inappropriate. He asked me 5 times why I don’t have children yet, he demanded I tell him why I am yet to be married at 23 and that “you are definitely old enough to have multiple kids and married by now”
He didn’t ask me anything about why I had a referral to him until the last 2 minutes of our call. I told him the issues that are happening and he changes the topic and starts asking me if I was on birth control.
He helped me with absolutely nothing. He made me feel extremely uncomfortable to the point where I am so thankful I did not see him in person because based on our phone call I would not have felt safe with him. My consultation letter from this visit was the most poorly written, unprofessional document.
He most definitely breached the code of ethics of the Canadian Medical Association.

I DO NOT RECOMMEND SEEING THIS HEMATOLOGIST

If it wasn’t for Dr Kagoma ,I would not be here today. He found my blood clots in my lungs and he found out why I had them.

Very old school approach. Blood doctor asking about your weight, which is completely irrelevant to his specialty. When I tell him, he questions the number and makes me get on the scale. Then asks “how I feel” about my weight. Oh, I feel great, wish I was heavier, said no overweight person ever. Shaming a person when it’s no concern of yours doesn’t help someone lose weight. Heavy people know they’re heavy and likely have been struggling with it all our lives and had doctors only see weight and downplay their actual concerns constantly. My actual problem was an afterthought. Very disheartening and disappointing in 2021.

A caring, very competent doctor, and we are impressed with his knowledge, and caring manner. A wonderful doctor to be fortunate to have in your corner when you are dealing with a serious medical matter.

Have attended Dr. Kagoma's office on four occasions
Honest and to the point, answers all relevant questions. Both he and his staff are very competent, empathetic individuals. I trust him.

This doctors beside manner is the worst I have ever seen in my life and I used to work for doctors...he screamed at me and I was actually fighting for my life, there is absolutely NO need for that, we are all human beings and I would not even talk to my dog like he talked to me, you better hope you don't get him or he has another side that nobody sees, these doctors need to have some accountability to someone for how they treat their patients, if I had more energy I would be reporting him to the College of Physicians & Surgeons, I wish I had had someone to tape his conversation with me....actually Brantford General should be making him accountable.

kagoma gives itp diagnose with out additional blood and urine tests to measure clotting times and detect possible infections,CBC measurement of size,number,and maturity of different blood cells including pleatles in a specific volume of blood and he did bone morrow test but the bone morrow produce enough pleatles ,but he didn,t indentify eny abnormal cells.And now i have different hematolgist taking care of me ,but for that wrong diagnose that he give to me he will pay for that and after him should be investigation becouse maybe i,m not the only one.and i dont konw how i become hematologist??????? so PLEASE CAREFUL WITH THIS SO CALLED HEMATOLOGIST my advise is rightaway see onother hematologist thank you
