This is how much I trust Dr. Nicholes: I travel from another state to have him address any problems with my dialysis fistula. He is a good surgeon in my opinion because he doesn't "cowboy" his procedures. And better yet, he ALWAYS works/consults with the nephrologists before he jumps in. He is conservative and competent. Sometimes doing less is more. Although I often find him over-busy and probably stressed, he manages to get me in ASAP and follows up to see how I'm doing. He doesn't come off as arrogant or a know-it-all like some of the surgeons I've had in the past. Good man. Excellent doc.

Did dialysis fistula surgery several hours late and obviously fatigued. Took the easy procedure, upper arm fistula thus endangering patient's ability to ever repeat the procedure. It must be all about the money.
