It breaks my heart to say no one in their right mind should go to Galli for anything. I saw him years ago and he was terrific. Maybe the pandemic changed him? I was injured and chose him immediately. It seemed to be fine at first. He even gave me his cell to give to my physical therapist. Since my appointment he will not return emails, his office won't return calls. It's a workers comp case. Dawn, his assistant/receptionist is not just rude, she gaslights. She doesn't know how to do workers comp. She told me countless times that she sent everything to the adjuster. I was on the phone with my adjuster everyday. She lied about it the entire time. When she finally did submit the paperwork, everything she sent in was wrong. Luckily the adjuster knew she was incapable of performing her job and was able to fix the form she sent in. She then sent me to a collection agency rather than bill the Workers Comp insurance. I asked her repeatedly to have Dr. Galli get in touch with me. Everytime she was flippant, rude and horrible. Dr. Galli should retire. He clearly has no interest in helping the people he has taken on as patients. It's immoral and unethical. If he is that uninterested in treating his patients he should move on and let a Doctor and staff that knows what they are doing take over. SHAME ON THESE PEOPLE.

I have seen Dr. Galli two times for an arthritic big toe which had been operated on 20 years ago. For everyone who has complained, let me say that if you found the staff difficult, they seem to have listened to you and cleaned up their act. Things are running smoothly and appointment are on time. The doctor is still funny, and I find that refreshing. He gave me enough time to tell him how I was doing in Physical Therapy. He sent me to a wonderful therapist. I hope to recover. He doesn't recommend surgery to me and that is a sign he is not thinking of anyone but me! He was highly recommended to me and so far it's encouraging me to return. I think the office staff and doctor have read your complaints and corrected them. It does matter that he treats the Rocketts. They must have some serious issues and if he's good enough for them, he good enough for me. I wish you all very good health and luck.

Since Dr. Galli performed surgery to alleviate a simple bunion, I have lived in pain. He made a serious error in the first surgery which he tried to correct with a second operation. Since then, every step I take causes a jolt of pain to my foot and I now have back problems resulting from the way I must walk. My foot is so deformed that wearing sandals or going barefoot are out of the question. The two surgeries caused so much nerve and bone damage that each of the 5 foot surgeons I have seen since told me that nothing can be done. A number of the reviews mention Dr. Galli's charm. Charm doesn't make up for competence. Find a doctor with the necessary skill to perform surgery with a good outcome. Dr. Galli is not one of them.

Omg horrible..... Horrible staff.... Abusive and irritated to even be answering the phone... Dr. Galli is charming and friendly but is distracted and unable to focus on what the issues are. I don't care about the rockettes...he caused more problems than he fixed.

Dr. Galli recommends to get a $500 ultra sound that was money down the drain. He gets money for issues the test. I just lose money. I go to a different doctor he recommends an MRI (waiting to hear how much that will be???) because an ultra sound does not show the detail that is required for the diagnosis that Galli made. Galli is a waste of time and money. Shop around elsewhere, Doctors are a commodity and should be paid the same way. Negative rating from me!

Dr. Galli literally changed my life. And so much for the better. Before I met him, I could barely walk. Thanks to his efforts, I'm walking again and my feet feel fantastic! I was a patient of his for several years in the early 2000's and, having had to work with more doctors than most due to a rare nerve disease that began in 2009, I can assure you that Louis Galli is one of the kindest, compassionate and most knowledgeable medical professionals with whom I've had the pleasure of working.

During the time I was a patient of Dr. Galli's, I often did have to wait for my appointment. While I can appreciate that waiting is frustrating, the alternative is that a doctor offers fewer appointments and is therefore not as available. I have one specialist for my nerve disease who takes this approach: he's always on time; but, if you need an appointment, you'll wait 6 months if you are and established patient and 3 years if you are a new one. While my nerve disease specialist's approach seems rather extreme, I would imagine the demand for his time is similar to that of Dr. Galli. In addition to maintaining his private practice, Dr Galli is a Clinical Instructor of Orthopedics at Mount Sinai Hospital and The Mount Sinai School of Medicine as well as the Foot and Ankle Specialist for the Radio City Rockettes.

To be a patient of a doctor like Louis Galli - one who is and has been at the top of the field in Podiatric Medicine throughout his career and, consequently, has additional responsibilities outside of his clinical practice, such as teaching, research publishing and caring for The Radio City Rockettes - you may have to wait. It's your choice to see him or not. As for me, given the miracles he's worked on my feet, I'll bring a book and take Dr. Galli's experience every time!
