I haven't been a patient in recent years, so I won't comment negatively on staff or punctuality. However, I did have a really poor experience years ago with bunion surgery, and, like others here, I still live with the after effects, and probably need more surgery as my foot is getting worse. He said I needed more complicated surgery than the standard bunion procedure. He operated (the convalescence was very difficult) and said he had to operate again to correct a problem. I assumed he knew how to correct what had gone wrong. As time went by, the foot became unstable, and the toe started to drift in the wrong direction. I consulted other doctors who said that the surgery to correct the problem would limit me and that I should put if off for as long as possible. Unfortunately, the toe is drifting more, and I find it increasingly difficult and uncomfortable to wear shoes (and I wear only lace-up walking shoes to support my foot.) I don't think he knew how to do that procedure. I wouldn't recommend that anyone let him do surgery.

I walked in not knowing what was wrong with my foot. I came away well educated and set up with ways to ease my pain and to schedule PT. I could not ask for better care. I waited a few minutes but since my appointment was at the end of the day that was expected.

Since 1992, there was not a single day that I didn't remember this doctor. Multiple mistakes of this doctor completely changed my life. I had to go through 12 other operations to try to fix them. Since then I could not more to ski, play tennis, wearing shoes with open toes and wear at least a small heel. Thanks to the other doctors that I can walk in sneakers and not limp. Exterior charm of doctor turned to me the drama of my entire life. He often repeated the phrase: "trust me." I trusted him. And now the pain and ugliness of my feet follow me every day.

Staff was pleasant and attentive, both my appointments were honored punctually, and Dr. Galli quickly diagnosed my foot problem and treated it... and was charming and friendly in the process. I'd recommend Dr. Galli's practice!

Worst. Staff. Ever. Terribly rude on the phone and in person. It is as if they don't want the doctors to have patients. Wait time is horrific. They stack up 2-3 people per appointment time. It took over 10 days for them to get an MRI approval, something that took another doctor's office less than an hour. The kicker? They got the wrong thing approved for the MRI and it had to be cancelled at the last minute so I could wait another WEEK for the appropriate approval. Forget about leaving a message for the doctor to call, you can do that until you are blue in the face. Either the message is never left, or the doctor just doesn't think it is necessary to return phone calls. As for the doctor, mis-diagnosis is the game. Come back for another appointment, let's see how much more damage we can do while we collect more money from your insurance company. I wish I had read this page before going. BELIEVE the negative reports - ALL TRUE!

I was recommended to Dr. Galli by my internist. On my first visit he said "I think I can help you." He taped my foot, prescribed physical therapy and a nerve conduction and circulation test done. I had these tests done immediately and the technician said they'd be sent out the next day. I went to physical therapy as well. I returned to Dr. Galli's office 4 weeks later. I noticed on the sign in sheet that he had patients scheduled every 15 minutes and 3 patients scheduled for my time slot. I waited for 45 minutes and was then told by Dr. Galli that he was waiting for my prescribed tests to be faxed. Finally seeing me after almost an hours wait he suggested an orthodic which was unnecessary, a night splint which would have made my foot worst and dismissed me saying there was nothing he could do but would look up some alternatives. The latter took about 7 minutes. He obviously had no idea what my problem actually was or had looked at my information prior to the appointment.

18 years ago, I was an accomplished ballroom dancer. After two surgeries performed by Dr. Galli (the second one was supposed to correct the mistakes he made in the first), I am in constant pain when just walking & my dance career is over. Over the years, I have seen several highly-rated foot surgeons in an attempt to relieve the pain. Every one of them has refused to operate -- the reason is that the two surgical procedures caused so much damage, they don't think anything will work and further surgery could make things worse. Our feet are so very important; entrust them only to a competent doctor, not Louis Galli.

Dr. Galli operated on me in 1980 and did excellent job. Very busy man but understanding and patient. Never offered me any medication at office so am surprised to see those ratings. Some staff has been unpleasant at times but think mostly due to stress of busy office. Rely fully on his opinion and wouldn't change him for anything.

Great experience. Extremely knowledgeable about dance and dance injuries. Have seen several other doctors but they were little help. Didn't seem like a businessman to me but a very caring individual. Just my opinion.
