He is GREAT. Very nice office staff. I was upset when Dr. Childers retired, however he referred me to a very good doctor. I would never say anything but nice things about such a very special doctor.

Complete waste of time!!! Don't waste your money!! I honestly don't believe he has any idea how to practice dermatology! Oh, they'll keep taking your money and do nothing! If you think you may have a serious skin condition, please go somewhere else!! Dr Skidmore is nice (actually more goofy than anything else), but incompetent as an MD!!

I have been a patient of Dr. Skidmore for many years. He is highly skilled & one of the best MOHs . surgeons. Dr. Skidmore's PAs are also very thorough & spend time explaining things to me.

I went to Dr. Skidmore for over 16 years every 6 months. I move to TN. And go to Vanderbilt Dr. and they found Cancer on my nose that had been there at least 8 years. I spent the 6weeks with my forehead cut and attached to my nose (forehead flap) to rebuild my nose. Then I had a MOHS surgery that Dr. Skidmore had already done on my forehead TWICE had to be redone and graphed by the Vanderbilt Dr. Find a different doctor.

Both of my kids and I have gone to Dr. Skidmore on and off for about 4 years. Dr. Skidmore and his staff have been good so far and he takes great concern in your care when in the office. Although, now I can't get an appointment for 5-6 weeks when I call to say my son, a patient whom they have seen before and preformed procedures on, has a mole on his face that has swollen and is painful. Having a teenage boy actually ask to go to the doctor because of pain in and of itself is a cause for concern. But to have the doctor's office procedures say that just because they haven't seen him in recent time he gets pushed back to a 5-6 week wait is ridiculous. They lost us as patients for not treating us as patients according to their mission statement.

Terrible experience for over a year--I paid thousands out of my own pocket and my insurance of course paid even more. Instead of applying experience, knowledge, or insight, Dr. Skidmore seems content to practice "shotgun medicine"--just order every expensive test you can think of and see if you get lucky, even when the tests are not medically reasonable to the point of being ridiculous. Even worse are the constant 5-minute followup appointments where we learn nothing, do nothing, but receive an expensive bill. Zero patience, poor communication, and unwillingness to provide any information other than "Google it yourself". My entire experience could be summed up as "shut up and just keep paying me for nothing." I finally went to a real doctor at Shands Springhill and got a correct diagnosis for a very common skin condition after *one visit* and a biopsy. Angry and hurt does not begin to describe how I feel--Dr. Robert Skidmore has made me extremely cynical about healthcare. Buyer beware.

I've been to his office for myself, and also with my son and husband. The staff is very good and the office is well run. I am just bothered by Dr. Skidmore's "Stepford" personality. He smiles too much and overly effusive. It creeps me out. I will be looking for another doctor who is a bit more "real" and human.

I went to Dr. Skidmore's office for almost seven years, maybe once or twice a year. I saw him twice and PAs and RNPs the other times. A doctor shouldn't grow a business that is too big to see every patient.

Dr. Skidmore's office one of the most professional I've ever been to. He listened to my concerns and didn't seem rushed to get to the next patient. I've never been kept waiting.
