I have been a patient of Dr. Hahn for over ten years and he is always so helpful. He answers all of my questions and has good bed-side manners.

I was referred to Dr Hahm by my GP and had to wait 9 months to see him. He was 1 hour late for my appointment but did spend 45 minutes talking to me. Although he seemed annoyed at my responses to his questions. He ordered a whole bunch of blood and urine tests of which 4 came back abnormal. I called his office a month later to ask about next steps/follow-up. Admin said she would call me back. I never heard from his office again, and he never sent any documentation (report or even notes) to my GP. Now any solid food causes me debilitating symptoms and pain. My condition continues to decline. What is wrong with our medical system (other than needing more GI specialists), that people so easily are forgotten?

I will never have a colonoscopy done by this Dr. I saw him for the first time over 15 years ago. He complimented me on my body - totally inappropriate. My latest colonoscopy he didn’t even look at me just asked if the Prep worked. The procedure was so painful I whimpered at least twice but no extra medication was given. He is a strange man - almost sadistic.

I'm a 39 yo female that was referred to Dr Hahn by my family doctor and have found him to be extremely competent, informative and experienced. He has been patient with my questions, comprehensive in his approach and I very much appreciate his straightforward manner. I had a colonoscopy done and, unlike the last reviewer, did not find it that painful at all with the minimal amount of sedatives I ended up taking. As an aside, the nurses in the endoscopy unit at Lions Gate were also very pleasant and helpful

His colonoscopy procedure is so painful. Every other person I know who has had a colonoscopy from a different Dr has no recollection of pain. This next colonoscopy will help me make a decision to switch to another gastrointestginalist

Does not believe in using much sedation during procedure. Very uncomfortable Where everyone else I know that goes to a different doctor doesn’t remember anything after the procedure.

Everyone else I know who has a colonoscopy by a different Dr. say they don’t remember a thing after the procedure. Dr. Hahn believes you should be aware during the procedure. I find it extremely painful

A good doctor but...
Office staff changes a lot, mostly unfriendly. My last appointment, I and quite a few others waited for 45+ minutes before finally asking the receptionist if there was a problem. Her response: "I just work here." After pointed questioning she admitted the Dr. was not in the building and she had "no idea" where he was. Yes, good doctors are scarce, they work hard. But a little professionalism & communication wouldn't hurt. 2 hours through terrible traffic, a wasted morning. I'll be trying someone else next time.

The folk who review Dr. Hahn in a negative way maybe do so because he tells you the truth. He is very knowledgeable and surely that what a Dr. is supposed to do. He has lots of years of experience and can thus be relied upon.

I'm a 50 year old male in for my first colonoscopy. Everything was on time from the initial consult and the actual colonoscopy procedure went a few minutes ahead of schedule. You are in good hands with Dr Hahn, he's straight forward and about the facts, like 'I've done this a thousand times what questions do you have?' I get the sense any negative reviews are more about bedside manner than skill, and based on family experience I will take skill and Dr Hahn any day.
