She has been my go to Doctor for 15 years.
When my mother was in stage 4 lung cancer, she was able to help her and kept her comfortable without the need of any medication. She also made a home visit which is something we really appreciated at the time.

I am extremely satisfied with this doctor. She is friendly, personable, and respectful. She does a thorough check up and is respectful of your wishes. She is knowledgeable and I trust her which says a lot in this day and age when most businesses are money driven.

Dr Raina is personable and thorough. She goes over everything and checks in on progress in subsequent visits. The clarity of seeing my symptoms reducing has been helpful and motivating. She's always on time and never over books. You can tell that she practices what she preaches in terms of self care.

Not a good ND, just someone who doesnt take your concerns seriously. Just giggles out of no where for no reason. In the mean time this is all costing the patient big money. Then there's the infamous accupuncture that she gives everyone. So the last 15-20mins is used up on accupuncture while she sits outside and returns calls on our - the patients cost

Dr. Persaud has been my, and my children's main doctor since 2003. I've never needed a GP during this time. She has helped me immensely with physical and emotional ailments. She is knowledgeable and I trust her more than any other practitioner I have seen. She's also great at helping you help yourself to get better, and to help you understand what's going on in your body. I enjoy the acupuncture, and every single session works for me. She's a fabulous ND and I recommend her to everyone.

As the patient below posted 18/1/2017 - I found with Dr Persaud it was all a trial and error. I was like a guinea pig, lets try this and lets try that where as all this experimenting was costing me lots of money. I found she is not knowledgable about anything to be truthful. As I said she was just guessing at what to sell me for supplements to try and see if it would work.
Well I could have done that myself by going on Google LOL. Needless to say she never helped me and my ailments at all, only took my money. It truly did put a bad taste in my mouth about how I feel now with ND. I would like to visit another ND but scared I will have the same experience with no help for me.

I was very disappointed by my experience with Reina, and I felt her care did not reflect the values of naturopathic medicine at all. She probably knows a lot, but her bedside manner is terrible. Through two interactions with her, she insisted on using medical lingo, models and hierarchies in a way that was both ridiculous and alienating. For example, she insisted that I call her "Dr. Persaud," while she only called me by my first name, and she reminded me twice that her husband and mother are/have been medical doctors. Why should her husband's credentials affect how well she delivers care? She also filled her consultation with medical terms and assumptions about what I knew, saying, in a very uninviting tone "you know what wheat molecules look like, right?" or "you know what this hormone does, right?" I don't think she values her own training, and wishes instead she were a medical doctor. Her assessment of my health was basically a list of "what-ifs," with more fear-mongering and doubt-casting than factual knowledge. Her tone about my family and specialist doctors --- with whom I've had trusting relationships for years --- was plainly derisive, calling them "Dr. Whatever" even though she relies completely on the diagnostic tests only they can provide. Her contribution to my care was a stack of photocopies, all with generic tips I could have found on Pinterest. I cannot stress how disappointing this was; not at all what I expected of a Naturopathic practitioner.

Reina was so helpful and caring when I came in for my first assessment. She is so knowledgeable and was able to figure out what was wrong with me within my first visit. She is a miracle worker!

I delayed posting this until after I had seen Dr. Persaud for both an initial visit and a follow-up. My experience was very good. A thorough intake/exam was completed. She took my complaints seriously and provided me with balanced input as far as what treatment options she’d recommend but those I’d be comfortable with as well. At my follow-up, I was happy to report that my main problem was well on its way to being resolved. I liked her style. She is patient-centred, positive, and not pushy. I’m happy to have her as a trusted resource for my alternative health needs.
