As a practitioner, Jeffrey Ryan was cold, flippant and didn't respond to my follow-up phone call. From my experience, I'm surprised by the other ratings on this site.

I have been with Dr. Ryan for well over 15yrs, Both my parents see him as well. He has always been very caring and his knowledge exceeds all others ..... I would never switch doctors again .....I now have a long history with his practice and feel very comfortable with his entire staff........I always seem to be taken right in on time , which in todays day and age is almost unheard of...... If your thinking of switching primary doctors i would totally recommend ryan family medicine.........

Best Doctor I have ever had!!! He is helpful, knowledgable, and ultimately he is great at what he does. I would recommend him to anyone.

Dr. Ryan is a great doctor! I have been with him since he was in Clifton Park. I travel 40 minutes from home or work to visit his office and it's worth it to me. He shows genuine interest and caring when I am there. I like that he is open to alternative medicines and seeks to find solutions before prescribing drugs. With the FIrst Line Therapy Plan that he offers, he shows that he is truly about wellness and preventing illness, something that I don't hear much about from my friends and their doctors. I truly don't know how he finds time to see patients, run his practice and also keep up with technology so that we can communicate and schedule appointments online through a patient portal. Before he had that, he actually responded to an e-mail I'd sent him, on a Saturday, no less. It's also comforting that his staff is loyal to him and have come to work for him from previous offices. He show the utmost respect for them and for his patients. I feel fortunate to be his patient. He is a gem!

I have been a patient of Dr. Ryans for several year.I have always found him to be very concerned and helpful. When I ask about the latest Dr. Oz suggestion he will look it up on his Web MD and give me his idieas. I really like that. So far he's the best doctor I've had, and I'm no kid.

Terrible doctor. Most visits are scheduled with PA's (no option if you dont wish to see a PA - who costs the same amount). Phone calls go unreturned, if he can't explain something he attributes it to stress, you cant cancel an appt within a 24 hour window (even if your kid is home with a stomach flu) and he charges for everything. He'll run tests but charge you if you have a single question on the results.

I have been going to Dr. Ryan for several years now. He always spends plenty of time with me, is very thorough and asks many questions. He is very helpful and has a wonderful personality!

I love Dr. Ryan! While going through some medical issues lately I have found him to be the most helpful and professional doctor I have ever been to. I have never had a problem getting an appointment for a visit, even short notice. His hours are great and the PA, Ronnie, is fantastic too!

I've been with Dr. Ryan for 4 years now. It is one of the few doctors I've had who I think is in the profession as his calling rather than for the money or the glamour. The experience is unrushed, the schedule is not overbooked like so many other places, and the care is balanced - not jumping right to the antibiotics for a sniffle but not taking any chances either. He also is trained in acupuncture which I have never had and he has never suggested to me but it reflects his open mindedness to treatment of patients. I am really shocked by the prior review and that it implies Dr. Ryan is motivated by what is good for him. Dr. Ryan's office is exemplary in the care, the management, and the staff too. My annual physicals are at least 30 minute discussions with him. We cover everything and he is not rushing off to cash in on the next patient.
