honestly.. i dont like to talk down of a doctor because theyre "supposed" to be there to help you.. but if you are ever referred to this "shmuck" definitely find somewhere else to get treatments.. he sits in his office all day and bases opinions without ever speaking to you about them.. extremely 2 faced.. he definitely pulls strings behind your back.. never mind what else hes pulling in his office when hes watching you.. if it wasnt for wilma paul and both the melissa's (upstairs physicians) there would be absolutely no need for him to be around.. he doesnt help you.. he just talks down to you.. like he "knows" EVERYTHING.. this is it.. your just a number to him.. just cattle awaiting the slaughter house.. while he watches you walk around the room in circles building up a strong case to try and ruin you because of your DISABILITY.. got forbid something like this ever happened to him and he had to go through the same treatment.. AVOID AT ALL COSTS!!! THE DOCTORS AND CLINIC ARE A SHAM!

This doctor makes his diagnosis without conclusive testing (with very limited testing at all actually!), he disagrees with other specialists and doctors recommendations without even consulting them. He is very condescending, rude, arrogant and insulting. His biggest concern was if I was on WCB so he could milk the system, when he found out I wasn't - my appt was pretty much over. He told me I was "useless" and the swimming and exercises I've been doing are "baby stuff" even though I've lost a lot of weight by doing them. He even questioned me "Who told you to loose weight?!" and I replied "My doctor and cardiologist!". Instead of dealing with the cause of my health problems he encouraged me to take pain killers and just up the dosage when needed. His 41 seat waiting room was always empty when I was there, yet I had to wait at least 15 minutes every time, and then was rushed out as soon as possible. This was the worst doctor experience I have ever had. I will never go back!

Dr. Hoy is a mean, condescending and arrogant person. He has no bedside manner, and is rude and judgmental. I saw him for one appointment, during which he insinuated I am a drug addict because I take prescribed narcotic pain killers at the dose recommended by my physician, and also implied that I sell my medication, which is completely untrue and unfounded. The appointment was the biggest waste of time ever. For what he told me, he could have written a letter to my family doctor explaining why he couldn't diagnose me. I am certain that he had me come in just so he could get the money from MB Health for my visit. I felt way WORSE after leaving his office. Thank god I didn't let him touch me, as it seems from other comments here that he gets off on other peoples' pain.

For the most part i am feeling better than i was when i started the program. doctor Hoy only saw me 3 times in my 6 week stay. the 1st of that was to tell me that my pain is not caused by the disks that have been damaged. on my last visit with him he told me that he was done his job and did not care what happened to me. i do believe that i would love to go back to work if i was pain free (which i am not) his staff tell you that you may refuse to do any activity you like. this works against you as now i am labled as being pain focused. How does someone not think of pain when itis present. I have never had a doctor wish to push pain meds on me and was only perscribed my personal dr upon my request. i am thankful for the strength that i have regained but not thankful that a recomndation was givin to mpi that i am able of doing my job. i did it for 4 years with pain i think that its time for it to stop if i can't do it pain free for more than 3 days then maybe i should not be in that JOB!

Definately works on the side of the insurance companies involved-cleared me to go back to work without a physical examination of any kind involved on the day of my dis-charge-based his opinion solely on a conversation-even with me telling him my injury was no better than when I came there 4 weeks previous to this.Watch what you say also as he will use it against you in his report to WCB or MPI or any other insurance company involved-he even goes as far as to change or omit parts of the conversation in his reports to make you look bad in the eyes of insurance companies. If at all possable avoid seeing this man under any circumstances.

Avoid this doctor. To many of his patients Conrad Hoy is deceitful, manipulative and degrading. Conrad Hoy and his staff at ARCC run an institution that make money off of your pain and injury. A terrible setting to heal in and a very insensitive doctor and person.

Dr. Hoy and his therapy staff are in need of people skills training.I find it very interesting that some people claim to have had a 45 min appt. with him. I was there for 10 weeks and I didn't even see him for that long with all 4 of my appt. with him. I left the in my 9th week by Ambulance. My husband got there in a 1/2 hour from his work and he was there before Dr. Hoy even took the time to come up stairs from his office in the same building. Now what do you think about that for patient care?

He is a terrible doctor. I believe he is only out to make money and has a deal with MPI to get injuried people off MPI and back to work before they are ready. I was sent back to work loading trucks, with a back injury. I told him that there was something still wrong with my back. He said it was just muscular, I said "NO IT IS NOT" but I was forced back to work because he told MPI I was alright. After 2 months my back gave out. I found out I had a disc problem and have now had 2 surgeries to fix it.

WCB was giving me the run around so I asked for a second opinion, they sent me to Dr. Hoy. I was very impressed with his vast knowledge and attention to detail, including 45 min examination. His opinion has helped my WCB claim.
