I had skin reduction surgery that left awful scarring and had to be resewn in emergency. The scars did not end up within inches of where he said they would so they could follow the natural contours of my body and caused strange bulges. I too was treated poorly with derogatory comments when I woke up horrified that I did not get what we had discussed going in. He told me that I would have had to pay "extra" for him to have done a better job. My surgery was covered by the province. I suffered wound splitting and fluid collection because he didn't put in drains.

I also had been accused of wasting time when needing to reschedule and had to wait months, and was told the camera was in repair. Odd coincidence?

Terrible plastic surgeon. Botched my breast augmentation. No feeling, no sensation at all! NEVER, NEVER, NEVER go to him.

Botched surgery. Looks much worse than before and I am left with chronic pain. He was completely incompetent in both his assessment and surgical ability.

A few years ago I had a facelift with this doctor. I am sure he is great, as long as there are no problems. If you require any kind of revision ..you are on your own. This may sound like bashing...however this doctor told me that my problems were because of my anatomy. I have since gone to a 2nd plastic surgeon for another opinion. I will be proceeding with this 2nd facelift with another doctor who did not mince words...this has nothing to do with my anatomy. I would not recommend Dr. Chasmar at all....having to undergo a 2nd procedure to correct these problems is a costly procedure...emotionally and financially.

Dr. Chasmar performed my rhinoplasty in 2000 which left me with a crooked and very long odd shaped nose. I regret not researching further each and every day.

I had a breast augment. I was very happy with the result. I recommended two other people to the doctor. They had very poor results and had to return for further surgery. Both friends still are considering further surgery but will not return to Dr Chasmar.

I just had an abdominoplasy done 5 weeks ago and it looks great. I had no problems with Dr.Chasmar, he called me the next day at home to see how I was feeling and again five days later. He was very helpful in the consult showing me many before and after pictures (none of bloody patients laying on the operating table), and what the surgery entailed. I never had any problems with the secretary, she was always polite and knew who I was when I called. I would recommend Dr.Chasmar for this type of procedure, maybe not for breast augmentation which seems to have the most complaints about.

I had a breast aug this summer and they turned out great! I love them! they are perfect! I think Dr Chasmar is a very nice and knowledgeable man. His secretary was nice to me and i didn't have a problem at all with her. I did find that he was little short when it came to aftercare. If you didn't ask alot of questions he didn't tell you much. But i had done alot of research before hand so i knew most of the answers already. I found him very polite and would reccomed him to any of my friends.

had breast augmentation: right breast was pain free within the few days, but my left side was in horrible pain for 3 weeks or so, so finally gave me cephalexin, and it didn't help. finally after a month and a half of severe pain (like i didn't even want to get out of bed) and after my right breast started to drop and take proper shape, my left breast was high and tighter than a pair of tighty whities. he made the pocket too small. first he was saying it was scar tissue forming and then i was like, how could i have scar tissue in one and not the other? so then he fixed it, and said the pocket was too small. i didn't pay for that procedure. then i guess i eventually did get scar tissue in my right breast (tightened+pain) and he took scar tissue out (free of charge), but my breast is quite squishy and kind of deformed looking (can see severe wrinkles from implant and areola LARGE) wanted large c said knew what would look good and he wouldn't go higher than 400cc, im tall so ok. 2003

He was very dismissive and arrogant when I called a couple days after the surgery to say that I thought I was developing an infection. By the time I finally talked him into seeing me, the infection was well-established, and I had to spend close to a week in the hospital. When I was eventually discharged, I needed IV antibiotics for another week. I've been left with permanent scars and numbness in the area. So it wasn't a pleasant experience. He needs to learn that even those of us who have not been to medical college can still recognize when something is wrong.
