This Dr. Will not give you the time of day to listen to anything. Seems almost lazy and rude, thinks he knows everything before even checking reports or ordering scans. Waited almost a year for a 2 minute appointment in which nothing was resolved. Simply laughed when asking what more I can do and if I could have any help referring elsewhere. Overall terrible experience and it’s no surprise to see so many people whose lives were in jeopardy due to this.

After reading and hearing some reviews from others, I was hesitant to bring my child to see him. He made sure my toddler was comfortable which helped her know that he wasn’t as scary as she was saying he was. She’s had some bad experiences with ER doctors so for him to be as friendly and gentle as he was, made the trip to his office worth it

My two year-old son saw Dr. Clifton this week regarding ongoing ear problems. His staff was exceptionally helpful and professional. Dr. Clifton himself was also exceptionally professional, helpful and kind with my son. He was so patient and the most helpful that a doctor has been this far regarding the ear issues we’ve been having. A lot of people warned me of the doctors way of being short and not listening to your concerns but I can 100% say that this was not the case at our appointment. We had an amazing experience.

No family dr, took years to get to see this person, in and out in less than 10 minutes. Useless. didn't listen , ingnored any information or comments, refused to do any further follow up! Was told he could not do referrals, for further care. Guess if you are the only ENT available you don't try to hard.
Left in the same discomfort been dealing for years. Would recommend seeking help elsewhere.

Bedside manners of a cobra. He knows everything without checking. Should be stripped of his license.

I would have lost my life if i listened to this doctor. I went to Dr. Clifton numerous times and all he said was "theres nothing I can do about that". He would not even refer me to anybody. I had to go to my family doctor to get a referral for a nose specialist. I would recommend not going to him and going elsewhere as he will make your problems worse and you will shrivel up and be depressed and die.

Currently suffering through a painful recovery of a tonsillectomy as an adult because Dr. Clifton wouldn’t remove them when I was a child.

My mother is dead because of this “doctor”. She saw him several times in 2 years because she had no voice and he didn’t do 1 examination and kept prescribing medications for acid reflux. Then we went to an amazing dr to find out it was cancer that got left for too long because of this idiot. His licence should be stripped. No one should ever loose their life because of incompetence. I’ve noticed my previous ratings have been removed, don’t worry I’ll keep posting this so people know if you have throat issues don’t waste your time. Get referred to Halifax not this idiot

Dr. Clifton does not involve the patient in care. To get him to explain anything was like pulling teeth. Seems quite entitled and disconnected. Spoke over me several times when I tried to ask questions. Poor eye contact; disrespectful.

After close to 25 years of breathing issues that I always just attributed to my physical makeup, Dr Clifton discovered sinus issues and a deviated septum with me. After a few initial visits, I was scheduled for day surgery. In and out of recovery in 3 hours total. Back today for the follow up (my surgery was 9 days ago) and Dr Clifton quickly removed the remaining appliance for my septum, gave me some prescriptions to help with any remaining inflammation and I am now back home breathing better than I can ever imagine in my entire adult life.

Right from the very start, Dr Clifton was professional and kind. He did not fill the air with nonsense or waste time with idle chit chat. He listened to my issues, explained procedures, and just was overwhelmingly friendly. He also checked in after surgery and discussed things with my wife and me.

I cannot say enough great things about Dr Clifton, except that I wish I had met him a lot earlier.
