Dr. Brewster has had some problem with staff but I found him to be a very knowledgeable and caring physician.

He's been my MD for >1 yr; very thorough! explanatory, involved me in diagnosis track, alternatives to dx methods & txs, gave me educational materials, scheduled labs & follow up, made appropriate referral to specialist (tho in my opinion now Dr Brewster could have done as much as specialist other than the colonoscopy/EGD), and gave me a care plan as I left the office! Now that's an MD who ascribes to empowering the patient and expects the patient to be involved in her own healthcare understanding, decisions, and health/wellness outcomes. Isnt that what we're supposed to do in taking an active part in our in own health management. This MD sent me out of his ofc with some work to do for myself, & we both were operating from same sheet of medical music! We need more like him here! Thank goodness he's decided to stay in our doctor impoverished community. Work WITH him, don't expect lots of unnecessary tests or meds, & you'll get great care fr Dr Brewster.

The doctor spent 30 minutes with me and listened to my problem. He was the first to arrange for labs and consultation in over 3 years. Now my back pain is more than 50% better and I can get out. Thank you Dr. Brewster.
